    PMLN is on a clear path of resurgence in KPK. A few months back, there was an impressive Jalsa in Malakand and now this huge rally in Mardan. I think next stop will be Hazara on March 25, where it all seems to be set for Nawaz Sharif to get an unprecedented public response, especially in Mansehra.

    A man who fails many times in past will do the same in future.
    Stop running around in circles and open your eyes.
    Jalsa with Musharaf baqiat is a big joke nothing else.

    He was an embarrassment for nation, a failure and will be same in future.A big mouth with lazy A S S.

    Don't the poor people know what they need? So if they know what they need then you worry not, they will make the right choice. As far as your needs are concerned, we know what they are; ample supply of burnol :)

    A good jalsa indeed. But this is infact Khawaja Hoti's personal votebank. PML-N has not been able to field a single good candidate from Mardan in any elections since 1988. Most of the time, they did alliance with some party here like JUI.

    And do I need to remind that this is the same Khawaja Hoti who was called drug dealer by Hanif Abbasi and Sadeeq-ul-Farooq on live tv shows when he joined PTI. And now Khawaja Hoti is standing hand-in hand with Nawaz Sharif.

    xainahmad bhai....
    Ya i agree this was a show of Kh.hoti but bro Iks jalsa of mardan was also show of hoti... then why pti gauys were dancing on the roof when it happend ?

    IK's Jalsa of Mardan was bigger and more charged:

    It means apart from Hoti's core support PTI enjoys better support in the region.

    Now just see this picture ever 8 hours (1+1+1); I realy liked the way the politicians like hoti. leghari and bosan etc. have used the bonga khan to increase their value;

    At least you concede that going to IK increases one's value. But now these people have decreased their value by joining NS.

    Khawaja Hoti left PTI because he saw that he can't win in intra-party elections and the old workers of PTI in Mardan were not happy with his inclusion. So infact Khawaja Hoti exclusion from PTI has given a boost to PTI in Mardan.

    PTI has almost 150,000 members (whose ID-card number and mobile number are with PTI) in Mardan District. And after intra-party elections, several new faces have come to the top here.

    FineInsaf bahi

    This is a big difference between collecting zakat and runing a country;

    The IK's jalsa are like madari; in madari u will see a lot of people especially the young kids like in bonga jalsa; but ofcourse the people in madari will not vote either for monkey or his boss; this fact is endorsed in the recent survey as well

    polularity: 63%
    voters: 14 %

    @mango bhai,

    But the people did vote for the monkey and the madari in 1990 - what about that? And you want us to vote for the same monkey again who has now become overweight from the haraam money he has been eating?

    BTW, you believe Gallup? Can you tell me who is Ijaz Shafi Gillani, head of Gallup Pakistan?

    fineinsaaf Bhai....
    PTI leadors such as Naeem Ul haq , Aarif alvi , Ibrar Ul huq , shafqat mehmood etc all said k survey is true .... if u dont belive in my words then plz watch Off the record of 5th march for Ibrar , Kla tak of 5th for Shafqat nd Fisla awam ka of 8th march for NaeemUl haq statements .... BTW IRI is saying the same thing not only in their last survey but also in syrvey which was published in september 2012... nd bro keep ur finger crossed for upcoming IRI poll which will released i guess just before elections ....

    ^^ That IRI Survey would probably have been conducted by now, as IRI conduct Survey in Feb-March usually. They only publish the survey at a later date that is somewhere end of April. That Survey would not tell the public opinion of April but of February. So that IRI survey could only be used to know how much true was this Gallup survey.

  24. chaudary801

    xainahmad Bhai....
    then why above mentioned Leadors accepted that Gallup poll if that is false or fabricated or farmayshi ?

  25. chaudary801

    I agree that Pti can climb some points up after 23 march but will this effect pmln .... if u follow the past 4 survey trends then PMLn will be around nearly 50 in next surve specially with the joining of electables which is on the cards .... while PTI will touch 20 i guess nd PPP will drop to under 10 .... bro acatually lead is too massive for any party to cover ....
    Note .... Today i m making a bet on Urban seats on Punjab... nd mu bet is PTI will not win any of Full urban area seat in punjab ....

    ^^ I haven't watched what the PTI leaders said about survey. In my opinion, the overall downward trend of PTI is acceptable and quiet logical with no local structure due to intra-party elections going on.

    Gallup poll head is Ijaz Shafi Gillani which can't be taken as neutral person. But even if we look at survey, PML-N electoral strength in KPK and especially Peshawar valley can't be justified at all.

    According to Gallup Poll, PML-N is leading with 36% in Peshawar valley (Peshawar,Nowshera,Charsadda,Mardan). PML-N hasn't ever won a single seat in Peshawar valley in any election. Even with joining of Amir Muqam and Khawaja Hoti, they can't be so high up in Peshawar valley. 10% would have been believable to some extent. And compare it with PML-N strength in Hazara at 43%.

    So obviously, there is something fishy in this poll. PML-N can said to be in a leading position in Punjab but not KPK.

    And Gallup also, published a poll 2 days before 2008 Elections showing PML-N near 30% if I remember correctly. where as PML-N got only around 20%.

    @Ch saab,

    Tell me just one thing. In IRI, PMLN's popularity is only around 12% in KPK. In Gallup, it is around 32% in the same province. Can you address that?

    ^^ I am not suppose to be a PTI follower in everything. I have my own mind and reasoning. And its good that I found official Gallup Poll released on 15 Feb, 2008

    PPP : 35%
    PMLN: 25%
    PMLQ: 15%

    http://www.gallup.com.pk/Polls/15-2-08.pdf

    I think you should check the Gallup Poll you were referring to again. :)

    but u were saying k pmln was 30%.... nd i was saying 19 .... nd what is ur point in this ... Pmln got aproxmatly same percent in 2008 elections .....
    in my opinion PMln gained in KPK due to incumbancy factor of ppp nd anp.... u said k pmln has historically no presence in kpk other than hazara .... I agree to u on this but bro but taht doesnt mean k pmln nevor could be in bettor position ... bro with the inclusion of pakhtoon electables like Hoti , Ameer Muqaam ,Iftikhar gillani pmln Gianed a bit .... While Anti establishment factor also giving PMLn papularity in KPK... actually people of KPK hate Pkaistani power Hungray Genrals ... nd PMLn u know is only anti establishment party in pakistan ... so ahts why they gained....

    ^^ I said:

    And Gallup also, published a poll 2 days before 2008 Elections showing PML-N near 30% if I remember correctly . where as PML-N got only around 20%.

    So the exact figure was 25%. ((25-20)/25)*100 = 20%
    PML-N got 20% less vote than said by Gallup.
    If this applied on Recent Gallup, 20% less would mean PML-N would get 32%. This is not "approximately" same, now. Is it?

    The Gallup shows clear discrepancies in the survey which is why it becomes doubtful. Although, I would agree that PML-N is leading as of now. By how many percent, that can be argued.

    As you said:

    bro with the inclusion of pakhtoon electables like Hoti , Ameer Muqaam ,Iftikhar gillani pmln Gianed a bit

    I agree , but that "bit" can't make PML-N jump to 36% in 3 months since IRI survey.
    PML-N can gain all they like, but Gallup should have made it look believable.

    PML-N would likely support JUI candidates in most of KPK except for Hazara and few seats like Hoti,Gillani. If they are so sure to get 36% in Peshawar valley, JUI would have supported PML-N candidates instead.

    There are other dedicated threads for survey.

    My comments about the surverys on another thread a couple of days ago; I'm posting it again, in case it didn't sink in the last time:

    "One important thing to remember about these surveys is that you have to see a few of them to really track a trend. We cannot say anything definitively by looking at just one survey. Certain events during the time when the survey is being conducted could skew the results one way or the other; for example, Nawaz was at the peak of his popularity during the long march, but that wasn't real.

    Similarly, when Imran he was staging the so-called 'dharnas' and doing 'drama-bazi' on drone attacks, he was clearly able to fool the public, and that was reflected in the polls because his numbers jumped up. But when the dust settled, his numbers came down crashing. Since then, survey after survey, he is following a downward trend."
