All of us are quite familiar with Neo-Conservatives.

But in Pakistan its the other way round like many other things. There's a new breed of democrats in Pakistan, I want you to explore the basic ingredients of these Neo-Democrats. some of them are as follows:

    1) There number one objective & core target is to ridicule religion. And they do it very openly since they know that in Pakistan the politics is restricted to Generals & their leftovers only. So the society in general is apolitical. And hence negligible oppostion to their core target.

    2) They ridicule anyone into politics other than Generals & their leftovers. They (leftovers) are against one another but they come together whenever any outsider comes into politics.

    3) They keep mum on the mass killings carried out in Iraq but are vocal on killings carried out on 9211. They keep mum on the killings in drones but very vocal on killings by taliban suicide.

    4) They spread hatered. Every other post is full of hatered. They lack of any objective analysis. They use the word consipiracy frequently for everything except WMDs.

  2. Generals are themselves leftovers of colonial masters of the subcontinent.
The rest agreed, and is simply known as hypocracy!

Neo-Democrats of Pakistan have totally opposite philosophy as compared to the demorats worldwide. Democrats worldwide consider wars as mass-killings while Pakistani Neo-Democrats wow for wars & military operations.

Our Neo-Democrats always blame madrassah for extremism & propose miltary operations against madrassahs the only solution to combat extremism. And run away from the real solution by establishing quality educational institutes next to madrassahs. And insists on military operations which in return are sowing more seeds of extremism.

Asif that would be better instead of the confused term "Liberals".The secular composition of the politics is of three main mind sets which are Right-center-left and then their sub domains. The lefties are commonly known as liberals. They generally have progressive, competitive, multicultural mindset and believe in economic growth through non-military non-interventionism.

But the breed in Pakistan that some people call 'Liberal' is quite funny.I am sure those secular liberals in west would take a great offense to that and would be right in saying that, "not in our names".

I call that extremely psychotic, second hand and confused mentality that understands neither secularism nor local culture of Pakistan, let alone core Islam.I would call them Kala-Angraiz, Bhangis, Dungers, Paindas and even thats the most civilised way to describe them. Though they dont deserve less than even the dirtiest slang in any language's vocabulary.

The post does not make any sense. What is neo democrats?
Conservatives and liberals believe in democracy. If you are trying to classify liberals as neo democrats why not call them neo liberals and point out their faults.
If you are against democracy then say so.
    I don't get your point.

I have defined them & one of your mate has already responded with full zeal & zest.

I am sure I have hit at right spot that is evident from a prompt response from one of your mates & still you say that you didn't get it.

I appreciate your sense of humor :-)

For solutions to political instability & AWAMs basic needs, Neo-Democrats always look towards everyone & bash them "hasb-e-taufique" except parliament, which is the only institute to formulate policies to meet political challanges as well as AWAMs expections.

  12. zia, I am anti-Democracy! I don't believe that the present democratic system suits our country and should be abolished/modified to cater for our culture/religion.

  13. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

I will accept that democracy which obeys Islam.

Islam does not limit Muslims to any kind of governance system, as long as that system obeys Islam's set principles, as long as that system remains within the boundary of Islam.

Neo-Democrats bashes Generals for dictataorship But when it comes to intra-party elections they keep mum & never utter a word about to election comm it but instead hails every black-n-white action of the Lefotovers.

These Neo-Democrats always profess for democracy but when it comes to empower AWAM in electing party officials & party nominees they tow the line of dictatorship of the leftovers.

All the parlliamentarians with few exceptions are the prime example of Neo-Democrats.
