    A military investigation has found that U.S. and Afghan commandos incorrectly concluded there were no Pakistani forces in the Afghan border area where the coalition was conducting an operation on Nov. 26, according to U.S. officials familiar with the report. That assessment cleared the way for an airstrike that devastated Pakistani positions.

    More worrying aspect of this episode is the lies that came out of the Afghan military and the Government suggesting that the Pakistani post opened fire first. Not that anyone should take the Afghans seriously but Pakistan should demand some serious answers from them. They depend on us for trade and not the other way round, this is a point that should not be lost on them.

    Any statement from Afghan govt. is supposed to a reflection of the Indian or American policies.

  4. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

    We ALL know what happened;

    (1) US under the guise/name of NATO fired at Pakistan, killed more than a dozen of our soldiers
    (2) people from US didn't apologize for what they did

    Let's focus on what matters with respect to this incident.

  5. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

    @stingingnettle: I can "visualize" where your going with this.

    There's a difference between;

    (1) Afghans who are good Muslims
    (2) Afghans who'v been bought off by US, foreigners, western powers, imperialists

    You'r pointing fingers at the ones in #2.

    The ones in #1;

    (1) neither did that, nor are they to blame for any of this
    (2) we should join hands with them, we should unite with them
