    The forthcoming year of 2012 seems to be brining a lot of unexpected events in terms of politics. Couple of last years aggravated the poor living conditions of the common Pakistanis. A lot of unpleasant events occurred in the previous years. Hardly anything pleasing to the nation took place.

    Let us pray Allah that the things related to our country become better in the next year.

    Hussain Farooqui;

    I wish you and the all the readers of this forum a very happy and peaceful new year.

    "Let us pray Allah that the things related to our country become better in the next year."

    The solution is not in divine intervention, it lies within the hearts and minds of the people who call themselves Pakistanis. Do you not think enough prayers have been offered in the last 60 years? Why do you think there is such destitution and oppression in Pakistan despite the prayers? Perhaps God wants you to do something about your destiny yourself.

    More work less talk in 2012.

    True prayers are offered when the problems are seriously taken into account. Our fellow Pakistanis have not started taking problem very seriously. Anyway, being responsible citizens of our country, we must be optimistic.

    @barackosama .. although hypocrite has raised valid points I hope you should also request NADRA office to change your DOB from Gregorian to Hijri date and you should also request your company to pay your salary on the last day of hijri months.

    My dear first of all let the Hijri calender be implemented and then if someone uses such prayers on Gregorian calender you are right to object. You may say it is unfortunate that we don't have Hijri calender but it is a reality.

    Well said Zingaro!

    And it is a system of counting days, months and years, not a Christian thing please!

    So happy new year to all.

  12. ہپوکریٹ صاحب میں تو مسلمانوں سے آپ کی سعی کروا رہا ہوں آ پ الٹا مجھ پر چڑھائی کر رہے ہیں بھئی مسلوں کا ہندومت یہودیت اور چینیوں سے کیوں بیر ہے ان لوگوں کے سالوں پر یہ مبارک بادیں نہیں دیتے مگر عیسا یت موسٹ فیویریٹ مذہب کے درجہ پر ہے یہ سنہری باتیں جو آپ نے لکھی ہیں آپ اپنی جماعت میں بھی جا کر بتا دیں .. پگلیاں پتا نہیں کیوں کروا چوتھ پر روزے رکھتی ہیں .. کسی انگریزی کیلنڈر کے دن رکھ لیا کریں

    @zingaro

    You should also begin Ramadan and Muharram according to the Gregorian calendar, make Hajj according to Gregorian. You could estimate for example at the beginning of AD year that the four sacred months (The count of months, as far as Allah is concerned, is twelve. This has been Allah's law, since the day He created the heavens and the earth. Four of them are sacred. [Quran 9:36]) would be May, June, July and August. Jibrael does not descend on night of Qadr according to Gregorian calendar, the people's works are not presented on every Monday and Thursday according to the Gregorian calendar, the people are not freed from the hell fire according to the 12 Gregorian months, the sins of people for two years are not forgiven by way of fasting according to the Gregorian.

    My dear first of all let the Hijri calender be implemented and then if someone uses such prayers on Gregorian calender you are right to object.

    The issue is simply not Hijri calendar but implementation of Shariat. You advocated acceptance of things until Islamic system (Hijri e.g.) is in place. Sweet!

    @Raavi

    And it is a system of counting days, months and years, not a Christian thing please!

    Jahalat at it's highest and best level.

    Anno Domino means Year of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

    January 01 is the day of the circumcision of Jesus (on the eighth day of his birth), when the name of Jesus was given to him (Luke 2:21).

    I congratulate all for getting one year closer to our fine anjam, good or bad and happy drone attacks coz they fall according to the Gregorian calendar.
