Though getting rid of PPP-appointees Managing Director PSO Irfan Qureshi, MD OGDCL Naeem Malik, MD PPL Khalid Rahman, MD Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Rasheed Lone, MD Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) Faizullah Abbasi and MD Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL) Ijaz Ali Khan who the government admits have "blown the energy crisis out of proportion" is a positive step, I doubt these m*r*ns have a clue as to who the right people are for the job. They just want to hire some goras hoping people will see "change" though things will continue as before....

    What do you think?

  2. They won't get through even if they want to because, Oil and Gas in Pakistan is owned by a Mafia. Anything related to energy, however green or cost effective will be effectively shunned/nipped off by the mafia heads you named above.

Is Dr Asim Hussain who advised PM to sack all these MDs of energy companies and now wants to post foreign MDs "on merit" himself qualified to be Prime Minister's adviser on Petroleum and Natural Resources?

I mean if he had been looking after ministry of health and other allied issue than it would have been understandable but him being posted as adviser for Petroleum and Natural Resources.. ? only "merit" i could think of is that he is Zardari's mate..
