No 'Sorry' from US as Iran plane tragedy marked

Has anyone ever heard the west apologise for anything they ever did against us? Did the Brits ever apologise to the Subcontinent, for instance, for colonising us for ever so long and paralysing our own developement as a free country? Apologising for shoving a zionist entity in the midst of Palestine with all the ensuing genocidal torture for the people concerned? Ever a word of sorry to Africa which they have totally destroyed? Or SAm where entire populations were simply wiped out? And, and, and. When did we ever get a penny of compensation for all our sufferings, I wonder. So Iran is simply being foolish if they think an apology might be on the way. Ditto Iraq and Afghanistan once these rotten military operations are over. Never expect the west to say sorry for any of their crimes. They have a right to commit them. Aren't they the best the world has ever known?

Absolutely. Because of NAm, I always refused to set foot in that country and even today I can't bear to think of their fate. And yes, Africom. On and on and on they go. Actually all Africom can do is genocide a few more Africans so the world can be left to the right colour. Africa, the heart and soul of it, was destroyed a long time ago when the first white man stepped on to its soil with his trusted gun.

Thank God, all this is slowly coming to an end as their star sinks and sinks on the horizon.

To attain apology for any misdeed from a powerful country, your own country needs to be equally or closely powerful. China was successful in attaining US apology when the American aircrafts made an aerial violtion of the Chinese boundaries. The Chinese forced landing of the Americans and then forced the US govt. to express apology.

Hussain Farooqui Sahib, Quite right, China did, indeed. At the moment there's some kind onf stand off between Turkey and Israel about apologising for the Flotilla tragedy. On the other hand, how everyone rushed to apologise to the Jews, one after the other, for something which may or may not have taken place.

SA - It's a pity Pakistan has not apologised for any misdeeds its army might have committed in 1971. Apologies of this nature, even if anyone ever gave it a thought, are often followed by demands for compensation for past wrong. Perhaps that's what held them back, but somehow I doubt it.

In case of former East Pakistan, apology is not enough which was also not made. Only once, Nawaz Shariff during his regime visited Bangladesh and wrote some comments of sorrowful expressions. We are obliged to compensate our Bengali Bretheren far more substantial things.
