Rehman Malik does not know anything.
he did not even know about OBL.
while Dawood is a real don, he can hide in better location than OBL.

I wont trust Rehman Malik's words either.

Expect India to raise the level of Dawood to the level of OBL. With the kind of politicians, military and agencies we will continue to be under pressure from everybody including the Hindu banyas.

    http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/India-releases-list-of-50-most-wanted-fugitives-in-Pak/articleshow/8243293.cms?intenttarget=no

NEW DELHI: Stepping up pressure on Pakistan, India on Wednesday came out with a list of 50 "most wanted fugitives" from law here hiding in Pakistan that includes underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, 26/11 mastermind and LeT founder Hafiz Saeed and dreaded terrorist Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi.

The list, which was given to Pakistan during the home secretary-level talks between the two countries in March, has Hafiz Saeed on top followed by Major Iqbal, a suspected serving ISI officer who also figures in the FBI indictment in a Chicago court in connection with the Mumbai attack.

The release of the documents comes two days after the government made public the names of five Pakistanis who had figured in the second chargesheet in the Chicago case of having taken a leading part in the Mumbai attack conspiracy.

It also comes in the midst of acute discomfort for Pakistan which has been tying itself in knots over the charge of sheltering al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden, who was killed in a unilateral US special forces action in Abbottabad.

Interestingly, Pakistan's interior minister Rehman Malik on Tuesday had said that Dawood Ibrahim was not living in his country.

Today's list of 50 fugitives also includes Jaish-e- Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar, the principal accused in the 2001 Parliament attack after his release in exchange of hostages in the Khandhar hijack episode in 1999.

Another big name that figures in the list is Illyas Kashmiri, who is accused of transnational crimes and conspiracy to commit various terrorist acts in India and who figures in speculative reports as the one tipped to become al-Qaida chief after the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Others in the list are close associates of Dawood, Memon Ibrahim alias Tiger Memon, Shaikh Shakeel alias Chhota Shakeel, Memon Ayub Abdul Razak, Anis Ibrahim Kaskar Shaikh, Anwar Ahmed Haji Jamal and Mohammed Ahmed Dosa, all involved in the 1993 serial bombing in Mumbai.

Chief of Hizbul Mujahideen Sayeed Salauddin, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front founder Amanullah Khan, Punjab terrorists Lakhbir Singh, Paramjit Singh Panjwar, Ranjit Singh alias Neeta and Wadhawa Singh were also named as most wanted fugitives.

Names of Mumbai terror attack case accused Sajid Majid, Major Sameer Ali, Sayed Abdul Rehman alias Pasha and Abu Hamza were included in the list of fugitives.

Key Dawood gang members Javed Patel, Slaim Abdul Gani Gazi, Riyaz Abu Bakar Khatri, Munaf Abdul Majid Halari, Mohammad Tainur, Khan Bashir Ahmed Ainul Haq Khan, Yakub Khan, Mohammad Shafi Memon, Irfan Ahmed Gulzar, Feroz Abdul Rashid Khan, Ishaq Atta Husain alias Ali Moosa, Sagir Sabir Ali Shaikh, Aftab Batki find mention in the list of India's most wanted fugitives.

Rashid Abdullah alias Abu Rehan, involved in 2008 Bangalore blasts, LeT commander Cheema Azam, Syed Zabiuddin Jabi, who was involved in 2006 Aurangabad arms haul case, Indian Airlines IC 814 hijacking case accused Ibrahim Athar, Azhar Yusuf, Mistri Zahur Ibrahim alias Bhola, Sayeed Shahid Akhtar, Shakir Mohammad alias Ram Gopal Verma, Abdul Rauf are also included in the list.

Sufiyan Mufti, prime accused in the Gujarat Home Minister Haren Pandya muder case, three accused in the 2003 explosion in Mumbai's Mulund railway station - Nachan Akmal, Khan Wazhul Kamar and Chaneparambil Mohammed Bashir -, Yaqoob Khan Pathan, involved in recruitment of Indian boys for terrorist activities and Amir Khan, who was involved in transnational crime, also included in the list.

This is not time to talk of the war.
    Time to show sense.

I don't think you are realizing the grave situation Pakistan has put itself in. Any time we should expect our enemies to plot against us. This time it is not the Indian banya who will make trouble. They have found new friends and allies in the western world and the Afghanis. So we are in serious trouble and will continue to be in troubled waters unless we get rid of this blood sucking mafia ruling us. That includes the GHQ, PPP, PML-N, MQM and several so called "religious" parties.

To say that we were betrayed by CIA/The Yankees is nothing but a very bad excuse. Since the Iraq war I have continuously been saying that this WILL happen. When ordinary people like me could foresee the next target of the Yankee/Jew nexus of evil, then why couldn't highly trained generals see the writing on the wall? Why we use so many resources on such knee jerk "personalities" when they cannot think of anything but their own wealth? I hate them!

If you talk about our politics that is a gutter and no one can remain in sense after falling in a gutter, This is too about our other issues but at least we need some sense on the issues of national security.

  17. well still the gutter can be cleaned out with proper planning/schemes/programs/precautions and in politician's case with their good intentions and deeds...dont blame the place/political ground blame the one who made it dirty!

i truley see the gravity of the situation that we are in .. the baniya patloon commet was given in the context of indian aggression ... and that is no following the popular sentiment .. its from my personal experience with indians that i know they are very buzdil by nature and that is wot i was referring to

coming to the point of gravity, our problem is munafiqat .. a part of vich is shown in ur above post also .. hamara almia hi yehi hai keh hum apne dil ki bharas nikaltey hain sirf .. jahan hume moqa milta hai hum apna badla letey hain (for different motives) ... let me quote

"When ordinary people like me could foresee the next target of the Yankee/Jew nexus of evil, then why couldn't highly trained generals see the writing on the wall?"

if odinary people like u could foresee the next target, then why did the less highly trained but competant jamhoriyat ke alam-bardar siyasatdaan could not see it .. and more importantly why did u not include the politicans/rulers of Pakistan in this statement (like u did in the above statement) .. tomorrow sum1 can quote ur this statement and make a khabar out of it keh u blamed the generals for all this (wot our newspapers do all the time) .. now please dont tell me the **** argument keh Pakistan ke asal hukmaran fouj hai ... us general ko out of turn promotion de ker, deserving logon ko supercede ker ke laney waley bhi yehi siyasatdaan hotey hain .. jo botey hain wohi katna parta hai ..

hamara almiya ye hai keh hum bahisiyat aik qom ke (as a whole) and aik insan ke (in individual capacity) munafiq hain .. chahe wo deen ka mamla ho ya duniya ka .. aur jab hum mein se aik munafiq kursi tak poohach jata hai (chahe wo PM ki ho, general ki ho, wapda ki ho ya factory owner ki ho), toh usi munafiqat ko dekhatey huye munafiq faisaley kerta hai .. shayed humarey dilon se maut ka khoof nikal giya hai .. verna kisi faisaley ko kerne se pehle insan sirf ye yaad rakhey keh hume aik din murna bhi hai, to kabhi koi ghalat faisala na karey .. mana keh insan ghalti ka putla hai lekun musalmaan aik surakh se aik bar dasa jata hai .. hamara kaam bas yehi reh giya hai keh rotey jayen aur doosron ke ungalian uthatey rahen aur apni bari ka intezar karen .. jab tak hum apna tarze amal nahi badaltey infiradi tor pe, hum behasiyat aik qom ke kabhi nahi badal saktey .. people like u n me make this nation, if we change, the nation would change automatically

Mostly the politicians are used like toilet paper. It's the gunmen (army) which is ruling us! Especially the foreign policy and defense related matters are a no go area for politicians.

  24. This could be a GOOD THING for Pakistan....It has been Observed that whenever India try to do MEDDLING against Pakistan Pakistani End up UNITED against them and leave every Differences and Issues aside.....This has been around since our Independence and most recently at Mumbai Attacks when they were Threatening Pakistan which lead to even Taliban to issue statements of Ceasefire or taking aside a differences against Common enemy.....

It is like India is like a CATALYST to Unite Pakistan or existing Pakistan now....So I think we should keep it coming cause in the end reaction wont gonna favor them or go by their Interest.....

  25. EMULATE OPERATION ABBOTTABAD?: NO INDIA CAN'T

A mere three days after the elimination of Osama bin Laden, two of India's service chiefs made statements to the effect that India's armed forces were both 'competent' and 'had the capability' to carry out a similar operation.

This seems to be at variance with the facts and also ignores much deeper operational and doctrinal issues, added to the military's seeming inability to grasp geopolitical reality.

Beginning with capability - photos of the crashed chopper from the Abbottabad compound indicate a heavily stealthy version of the Blackhawk, a version never seen before - and probably one that would have never been seen had it not crashed. That India could manufacture a covert-ops stealth helicopter, given that it is still struggling to indigenize the ostentatiously 'indigenous' Dhruv, stretches credibility to the limit.

The live link to the White House which enabled the joint special operations command (JSOC) to give critical directions at critical turns is heavily dependent on advanced satellite communications facilities of which India has no demonstrated capability and is excluded from, due to the refusal to sign the communications interoperability agreement (CISMOA) with the US.

One also needs to remember that unlike the West, India has no significant heliborne combat rescue capability or experience - a prerequisite for covert insertions of this kind. Since after 1991, the West has successfully rescued every one of its downed pilots, even in the face of overwhelming odds. Contrast this with Kargil in 1999, where Indian aviators were downed owing to lack of counter-measures on their aircraft. In addition, those that did eject on the wrong side of the border did not have the training to evade capture nor the Air Force a credible extraction capability.

Moreover the Mi-8/17's (the backbone of India's helicopter fleet) crudeness should be contrasted with the sophistication of Pakistan's latest F-16 fighters mated to advanced air-to-air missiles and the Aspide surface to air missiles. The Mi-8 incidentally is the same machine that was shot down by 80s era Stinger missiles in Kargil, indicating that the Air Force had not factored it in as threat even a full decade later.

The creation of a joint chief of the armed forces was torpedoed by both the Navy and the Air Force fearing Army domination of any such institution - effectively ruling out any synergistic effort on the lines of JSOC. Political interference in military matters for its part has made a joke of operational secrecy. This was demonstrated during Kargil when Defense Minister Fernandez' absolution of Nawaz Sharif was criticized, proved by the release of recorded conversations that blew the cover off one of India's highest value intelligence assets - the surveillance system that had enabled these recordings of the deliberations of the Pakistan military to be made.

The DRDO too is notorious for thoughtlessly trumpeting new weapons systems unmindful of the consequences, the latest being the Ballistic Missile Defense programme that drove Pakistan's recent expansion of its nuclear arsenal. This is a heavy price to pay given that most DRDO programs are proven failures. As for RAW evidently the Indian media is able to locate wanted fugitives with greater accuracy than a 'professional' organization as India Today's exposé on Dawood Ibrahim's hiding place in Karachi proved.

Geopolitically an operation like this would be a disaster since Pakistan could then justify shooting down Western planes claiming ignorance of their origin - crippling the latter's targeted elimination operations in the FATA - a significant own goal the Americans would not take kindly to. Also one must remember that Pakistan's eastern border is guarded by twenty strong divisions, all on high alert, while the western border merits a mere five weak divisions, trained to treat air incursions as both routine and authorized. While India may be able to launch some haphazard strike - whether it can militarily or diplomatically contain the fallout remains doubtful.

The option of targeted assassinations has long existed - but raises questions as to why the military never presented it as an option before - settling instead for the dangerous delusion of 'Cold Start'. In fact the drones that India could use for such an operation have high radar visibility optimized for Israeli operations where the opposition has no credible air defence as opposed to the Indian scenario where the opposition has mauled the Indian Air Force repeatedly.

Given that the then Army Chief's lack of knowledge of ammunition stocks led to stalemate instead of victory in 1965, given that the Army initially tried to hush up Kargil, given that the official war histories of 1965 and 1971 are off-limits - even to those studying in the defense academy, given that 'Cold Start' is proving itself an unusable liability, given that the military takes decades to gauge and respond to new threats (if at all), the question begs asking - Is not the political leadership's distrust of the military legitimate? One can only hope that the advice given to the Prime Minster in private is of better quality than the wild hyperbole fed to the public.
