After NRO was declared illegal and unconstitutional by SC, exit control list was issued by concerned department because of reopening of cases ranging from financial corruption to extremely heinous and brutal crimes like murder,kidnapping and assassinations so that those criminals might not slip out of country and abscond(like london based absconding MQMized pir Altaf bhai). When defense minister was stopped other day at the airport his staff made a hue n cry and insulted and threatened the Immigration staff at the airport. The immigration FIA official obviously were aware that they were dealing with a sitting minister and no ordinary minister but high profile defense minister who is to proceed to China with naval chief to buy naval hardware. Despite that they stopped him for go out. It was only because of fear of Chief justice and independent supreme court that they did all that and faced the fury of minister because they knew that if they didn't do their job then CJ will call them in supreme court and will insult,penalize and embarrass them in front of every one in SC. BUT defense minister went back, called Prime Minister and President and got the interior secretary(for including his name in ECL) and those FIA officials deputed at airport sacked from their jobs.
I salute those officials deputed at islamabad airport. Now its the job of SC to stand by these officials whose only fault was that they were doing their jobs and implementing the orders of supreme court. As Chief Justice have himself noted that SC doesn't have a army or police to implement its orders so it should stand by these innocent officials and restore them and penalize govt for sacking them without any justification.
Lastly names of MQMized criminals in cabinet facing disturbingly heinous,brutal and largest number of NRO cases have been removed from exit control list and those notorious ministers have been allowed to roam scot free(and might abscond like their london based absconding grand terrorist Altaf bhai) only because they're holding Karachi on gunpoint and their unit/sector criminals go amuck if ever any govt takes action against them.
So if the names of these MQMized criminals have been removed then who else remains on ECL. just remove the names of those poor guys from the lists as well.
