Recently Boston Globe correspondent asked Obama to take a good look at this famous 19th century portrait in a British war museum before commiting more troops into the Afghan graveyard. This portrait is of a lone British surgeon who escaped the annihilation of entire 19,000 British army contingent. The surgeon depicted on horseback was the ONLY survivor let go by fierce Afghan Mujahideen to tell the STORY.

This is what happens to foreign armies in Afghanistan.

Also Rudyard Kipling, the British poet who served in 19th century wrote:

When you're wounded and left on Afghanistan's plains,

And the women come out to cut up what remains,

Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains

An' go to your Gawd like a soldier.
