A suitable title of this thread should be "Occupy Army Headquarter in Rawalpindi". When will our nation understand that Army is the real source of power in Pakistan and politicians are simply their pawns.

Occupy army headquarters with a few handful people, it seems your like minded people are bringing a tsunami against headquarters:)
even the women stated that nuff all will happen, but she wanted to make her point put forward, maybe N$ needs to join that show, he needs the support as he is isolated from everyone else. **** Kushti for over 3 years and then whilst he was sitting onhis back for decades decided to come out, because of the IK factor.

TO ADD FUTHER;
NS also was hiding in his hole for 10 years and didn't utter a word!!!!
Please do remember this spineless, coward and corrupt leader's escape when he made a deal with musshy darling so that his thick neck does not have to stay in gallows.... (we really needed blood from punjab this time and who would have been a better Qurbani than this motta tazza dunbba)Posted 6 months ago on 08 Nov 2011 4:25 # -
Loved the way, one protestor was holding "ERNESTO 'CHE' GUEVARA" picture... haha
Do they even know his philosophy? or is this another group of westernized babies who are thinking of jumping on the bandwagon of West?Posted 6 months ago on 08 Nov 2011 4:33 # -
KHAN_Sahib, Good to hear your voice again, although harsh in condemnation of the things you hate most after MQM.
As for Occupy, the young woman was extremely eloquent in her explanations, I found. I wonder what Faiz and others would have said to this miniature performance.

I will say occupy presidential palace,which has been constructed with hard earned and tax money of pakistanis,
blood and flesh of poors with hundred of rooms which can be served for better aim than sitting there a criminal eating and enjoying on the dead bodies of human beings.Posted 6 months ago on 11 Nov 2011 9:50 # -
@Mirza Sahib:
I have lost any sympathies for any one who has done any harm to Pakistan as a nation or Islam as a religion which narrows down my hatred list to pretty much every politician of Pakistan.
I don't care less if the politician is a by product of army or america but I am only concern with his acts which are against our nation.

KHAN_Sahib, I did write a comment in answer to your above, but somehow it's not here. So I'll simply say this. I get your point, but I think the worst may well be behind us now. Soon we may not have to worry about people doing things against our nation. Rather we may feel we've entered a positive era at long last.

Inshallah I hope the worst is behind us, the October 30th jalsa has opened many people eyes. However brother mirza there is still a long way to go yet before we can see the back of these system quo parties, and leader (Imran Khan) that can control establishement.

saladin89, thanks for not dimissing my sense of hope out of hand. I do appreciate that. I also wish to make it absolutely clear that I'm not trying to promote any cheap optimism amongst my fellow Pakistanis. If one adds up the positives at play and compares them with the negatives, the answer is clear: the former are on their way to victory. What a difference a year makes. Just a year ago, darkness had spread throughout the land. And then, with infinite slowness, changes began to occur. Glimmers here and there of light were discerned. No more Karachi killings. The TTP finally brought to heal and Imran Khan keeping his word to the people through thick and thin ending with the astounding Lahore jalsa at which the people finally kept their word to Imran. There are many other indications as well, but we shall not go into them at this stage.
So yes, we are on the right path and no, it is not going to be easy. Many ups and downs ahead still to come. But we are getting there, God willing. So let's put our ingrained pessimism aside and hold our heads up high.
