OUR Gen. Petraeus and the US Sectarian War Strategy

(14 posts)
  1. Torture Orders Were Part of US Sectarian War Strategy

Gen. David Petraeus was a key figure in developing the strategy of using Shi’a and Kurdish forces to suppress Sunnis in 2004-2005.

The strategy involved the deliberate deployment of Shi’a and Kurdish police commandos in areas of Sunni insurgency in the full knowledge that they were torturing Sunni detainees, as the reports released by WikiLeaks show.

That strategy inflamed Sunni fears of Shi’a rule and was a major contributing factor to the rise of al-Qaeda’s influence in the Sunni areas. The escalating Sunni-Shi’a violence it produced led to the massive sectarian warfare of 2006 in Baghdad in which tens of thousands of civilians – mainly Sunnis – were killed.

or you also believe in this lalaland story they they are fighting for 'islam ki sarbilandi'?

aren't they being used as tools by those very parties you described above?

  5. Zardari had a slip of tongue that US of A is behind the Taliban attacks in Pakistan. Put 2 and 2 together.

"but what about TTP? whose bitches are they?"

I really don't know (funny, me being the spokesperson and all)! I am only certain about the one's I named. Is TTP getting outside money/support? Sure. Exactly what is (are?) that source I don't know (let's assume it is the army/US and that is I am sure true for certain factions). Are they being used as tools by those named? Of course (i.e. at least to sell the war to their own people). The trouble I have with baboos is when they say support the army to get rid of TTP. That to me is supporting the bigger (MAIN) crooks and the ones really behind creating the mess (who meanwhile laugh all the way to the bank).

So let's knock 'em BOTH dead ;-) But as long as the Pakistan Army is fighting as US surrogates, I am ALL with TTP (even if they are being used as tools)

  7. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

@dildar: TTP have been 'used' as a 'tool' for applying 'top' (Musharraf/Zardari) and 'bottom' (TTP) type of pressure on the masses in Pakistan.

    For more details on this 'top' and 'bottom' type of pressure, watch the;

    - Video: The Capitalist Conspiracy

Neither is this the first time this kind of pressure has been applied on masses in some nation in the world, nor is Pakistan the first place where this kind of pressure has been applied.

if my information is correct, that there are less than twenty hard-core Al Qaeda personnel present in each tribal area, not a single one of them has been successfully targeted. In fact, almost all of the militants killed in the Mehsud area were lowly soldiers, many of them Uzbeks and, according to some Mehsuds, some of those killed included those who disputed Baitullah’s leadership.

Indian involvement to destabilise Pakistan is less easily understood, except as a ****-for-tat response, because it cannot take possession of Balochistan, and if Pakistan implodes India will face disastrous consequences.

so,some theorists contend that the US and India are unwitting pawns in the hands of Israeli Zionists.

Baituaalh meshud to me was more mossad indoctrinated and Indian supported agent. America fault lies in turning a blind eye to Israeli and Indian machinations against Pakistan which inadevertly makes them complicit on some level. The Americans are sure Pakistan is helping them against alqeada and the only reason Pakistani could do more against alqeada is that they are no longer in large number the Arab component in Pakistan is down to dozen and on move and untraceable as TTP has killed all Pakistani agents of relevance to al-Qaeda in tribal regions .

what American are pissed about and want to get to Taliban and its current allies such as haqqaani and hekmatyar top level command and they think Pakistan is protecting them and also so they are saying look these are threat to us . We will let you have your bad guys. But Pakistan problem is not this it is Indian domination setting in Pakistan which is Pakistan problem and America is realizing that, but alqeada threat and to get them a different strategy has to be adopted is not local Taliban.

Al-Qaeda could now dealt so us has allowed chaos build up in Pakistan with help of Israel and India to show what Taliban if against you can do this scenario in which USA wants to rounded Taliban and go with a graceful exit with still more damage to alqeada. alqeada nearly done lets turn against Taliban get Pakistan to fight Taliban let Indians get control of Afghanistan even if it leads to Pakistan detriment at least India will counter china and yes before we go solve the Kashmir issue by pressing Pakistan to do away with Kashmir, Whereas half job done by mushraf himself.

he knew this that kargil was so important from Pakistani point they had to make sure Pakistani access to china could not be easily affected and yes to denuclearize Pakistan so as conciliate irrational Israeli demands and set a stage for un-checked Indian hegemony if this can be achieved then at least break baluchistan to allow finish gawadar port utility to china , let Indian use it to reach Afghanistan which solves Indian, Iranian head ache , helps destabilize Iran better as even when pressed to hilt .Pakistani are not that much accommodating and at same time create so much chaos in pakhtoonkhawa that Pakistan .

there are two lobbies in USA one for destabilizing Pakistan and trying to get their above geostrategic or imperial objectives and on their hand forces wise enough to understand the implications of destabilization of Pakistan but still wanting to put Pakistan nukes on leash and blunting Taliban. These forces which are better only on are fortunately coming in to play helped by a very accommodating Pakistani govt. Who have been told if you want to remain in poor get money and see Pakistan survive as one nation just let us denuclearize Pakistan the shangla police 12 kms away from kahutta , and get every top level Taliban anywhere even it lead to mini cycle war in Pakistan.

TTP and other liked minded groups are biggest money making scam for army and ISI. All at the cost of a few of these groups breaking out from ISI control from time to time and killing some people, but the main taliban body remains firmly in the control of ISI, with Mullah Omar, the known ISI trained agent at its helm in safe custody of the agency.

The mullahs who support this fake money making jihad are even more guilty then the ISI, as they spread falsehood and misinformation for sake of their ISI handlers. And there are even those in their forum who have bought into the notion even on this forum, either willingly or unwillingly.

  13. Dear Friends,
Rest assure the head figures of terrorist; Al Qaeda or Taliban may never be hauled up or killed by drones or any other effort implied to eliminate them. This may not happen.

Af-pak is a mega US project and a big thriving business. It attracts an in inflow of Billions of dollars of money in and around Afghanistan, on which the US army and the battle weapon manufacturers and other equipment and food supply industry is making money. Termination of war on terror will result in redundancy of millions of US and European employees connected with this industry and their programmes. Military and its other affiliate organisations will also be redundant.

Whereas the above companies and organisations will experience forced closure of their businesses—the fate of this war ‘crumbs collectors’ countries like Pakistan Afghanistan and other stooges like ISI and the CIA agents TTP and doctrine minder Mullah and their Madrassahs, producing the war fodders; their business is also at stake. The ceasure of war on terror may result in shattering of their dreams.

Out of all these crime abettors; nobody really likes to end this fiasco and face closure of their thriving businesses. Reportedly US pumps in some three billion Dollars into Afghanistan---weekly.
