    Overseas Pakistani shall stop filling the pockets of Pakistani rulers.

    Overseas Pakistani send about 8 billion dollar every years. I assume a small amount is used to support their loved ones back home while a major part is invested in land and houses. The ruling rich classes sweep all this hard cash and ship it to Switzerland. That means rulers are having loot and luxury on the hard work of overseas Pakistanis.

    Has any overseas Pakistani organization taken an initiative to use this hard earned money as a weapon to force the elites in Pakistan to come to term? I mean that rulers should first show their willingness to fix the country and then contribute for a better Pakistan.

    If the push comes to shove, just do not send any money to Pakistan. Will that get their Ducks in a Row?

    Azizi, you make an excellent point there. Your title is perfect. And this is definitely something to be discussed with overseas Muslims or the Diaspora. It might even make a lasting difference to the way this country is run.

    This won't affect Zardari or Nawaz shareef as they will seek more IMF loan.. For this movement to cast any effect, it may take months and by the time zardari leaves, pakistan will be defaulted with major crash.... I would only support if an Economist can give us figures that it will not just destroy the country.

    If we want to make change then we need a civil Dis-obedience movement which should be called by any party but PML or MQM...

    well there are many families who depend solely on the money sent by their supporter from abroad. How will they buy food if they don't get the money. It will take months to make a difference, and those families have no choice either die or receive money from their supporter.

    Secondly, there is no shortcut to success. It is a slow process and takes time.

    Instead I think every overseas Pakistani should support one poor and deserving student to study. This can definitely contribute in changing the future of Pakistan. We can only eradicate these false leaders by educating people.

    I fully support Azizi, overseas pakistanis must stop sending a single pence to pakistan untill commander- in thieves,zeradri with his cronies are there and they do not bring back to pakistan the looted money of nation.

    Not only this, no pakistani should take part in any function or party given to gang of this robbers and its ministers whenever they come to any part of Europe, where pakistni community is living.Hell them all.say truth.

    @ mylove-Pakistan, I absolutely second what you say in your post about overseas Pakistanis supporting students in Pakistan by paying for their studies. If each Pakistani at home or abroad takes one poor student under his wing, we'll have solved the problem of that shameful 3% education allocation in Pakistan's budget and, within no time, illiteracy will have become a thing of the past.

    Over-seas Pakistanis' should stop! paying for luxurious life of the tiny elite that is strangling our people, taking the lifeblood out of this nation with each passing day.

    Yar hor kitthe bhaijiye meri jaan!

    But the main thing is how we (the awam) can stop this leakage of hard earned money to places like Swiss banks which then would cater for their "AYYASHI".

    I wish we could make a DAM against this leakage. Can we?
