Nah IF you are familiar with the history of karachi then you will know that Baitullah Mehsud served the function of Farooq Dada and Fahim Commando.
The latter 2 were teh most terrible people on Earth and the biggest enemy of general public employed by MQM to create unrest. Later it turned out those guys were nothing and just made pieces of victory in an Ethnic Cleansing of the City.
Same here Mehsud and his company served the interest of US presence in Pakistan.

Regarding the Bomb Blast at hotels i think they were ISI's version of giving the Americans a tough time and making sure things arent that easy cos if everything is easy then they cant hike up the prices.
Attacks on ISI could have been self induced or somehow the Rat=**** from the east got in.
