yes its great to read that.
I hate the prospects of selling and spreading weapon technologies.
Having said that, if Muslim countries are equiped with military technology with which they can defend themselves against foreign attacks, that would be a GREAT!!! asset for Muslims as a whole in the world
It would mean, that Israel won't be able to oppress Palestinians anymore
It would mean, we could move forward in pushing US out of Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia etc etc
This also means, that Pakistan's defense complex is slowly moving towards self sufficiency.
They are decreasing their dependence on US based military equipment and technology
If Pakistan starts selling military equipment to Muslim nations, it could have some kind of impact on the economy of US military industrial complex as well, which means, US won't remain that effective in Asia and Middle East.
The sky is the limit in what can be done
weapon industry is the biggest industry to mint money.
on one hand western countries wanna ban all weapons and wanna make the world a peaceful place .
and on the other hand ...they are busy doing weapon deals with third world countries like us .
weapon race has ultimate disaster for the respective countries ............
see Russia.
The objective of my statements is defense against foreign oppression
hmm i dont think the Rightwingers/Israelis are that out of focus to allow Pakistan a fully functional Drone technology.
Remember we had to build the nukes by hiring the services of Saith Abid.
what happened to "uqaab", "mukhbar" and "jasoos"?
why did they need the help of the italians? and why italians?
@Beenai
The best machine gun in the world is Kalashnikov
The Best Bullet Proof Vest is Kevlar
See which country produces them and you will understand the nature of war and gun-slinging.
Pakistan needs to have a long term goal of reaching a time when there will be peace.
Pakistan should plan its resources according to this strategy
We need to get out of this cycle of death and destruction
"Pakistan needs to have a long term goal of reaching a time when there will be peace."
there is a clash of civilizations. there could only be peace when one civilization wins over the other.
I don't think it is all about technology, enough is already there to defend/protect people of land.
Air Force Chief said on record that Pakistani forces can strike down drones and it is just matter of govt policy!
Brave heart soldiers & commanders can take on anything if coward & traitor agents let them.
Just read about that brave heart kernal sher khan, a son of swat, even enemies have acknowledged that brave and courageous lion of Pak Army!
karnal sher khan was from swat? :-O
Subhan Allah!
weapon race wont give us much.
we need to be strong otherwise.
see.
we are one of the 7 countries of the world ,who has neuclear power .
we have one of the best army ...
but still we are one of the weakest nations ,in today's scenario.
we need to be financially independent.
agriculturally self sufficient.
literacy wise solid.
employment wise good.
investment friendly.
internal law and order wise great .
our leaders should be brave enough to tell the world, what we are made off?
yes, because we have the worlds best puppet rulers too. they have surrendered Pakistan without a single bullet being fired. and they have put an 8 lac square kilometer "FOR SALE" board on Pakistan.
yes, captain kernal sher khan was from swat, received nishan-e-haider. when one reads how these brave heart lions stood and held back battalions... just mind boggling.. no force of world can take on these lion hearts.
yes agreed with beenai
our leaders should be brave enough to tell the world, what we are made off?

They did fine in a middle eastern exhibition for arms held quite recently, even won some contracts. The Technology you are reffering to is satellite technology, and with that capabality you can sit anywhere and control a drone. This mean indifinate range and control.
thanks semirza
that's why i was thinking that why did we need help from someone.
@All
Can Hell-Fire missiles be fitted in these drones ?
We need camera lens technology, light weight engine, and real-time data relay system.
"Can Hell-Fire missiles be fitted in these drones ?"

http://www.idaerospace.com/index.html
