Mao of moderen China, Castro of Cuba, Suharto of Indonesia, Khomeini of Iran, Col. Qaddafi of Libya are few of them who carry one common thing, They considered as Dictators and killed many, in the eyes of West. But there is something more which is common in them, They put basement of 'New' nations and cause fundamental change in their countries. If they murder many persons? that may God knows better, as it can be a pure Western propoganda on the name of 'Democracy'. Anyway it may possible that in the history of nations situation might come when a nation should be ready to pay the price- in any form.
I wonder if Pakistan is NOT there now? To pay the price in form of a Revolution? It might cost hundreds or thousands of peoples life. Now question is if it is better that a Hard-Hitting Dictator should take over and have to do the BIG CLEANING from top to bottom- a way adopted by Iran after revolution. Aayt-ullah Khalkhali considered the person who did the job. He visited Pakistan and addressed to judges/ and other prominent persons of judiciary. One of my very close friend, who is a Judge of Punjab High Court now-a-days, was nearby when Khalkhali addressed. According to my friend, Khalkhali said that we gave strict warning to the 99% of Shah of Iran’s elite BUT we were forced to HANG 1% of Shah’s corrupt elite as their crimes and corruption was so severe that we could not forgive them.
Do Pakistan NOT need that? Are we NOT there? I personally DO NOT in favour of any killing, BUT may be in the history of nations, sometimes situations touch the peaks of corruptions and disintegration that one can feel to take such unpleasant and uncomfortable steps. There are few good souls here and there, in different parties, BUT mostly politicians and rulers, civil servants and many many others are CORRUPT, Very Corrupt. It is almost NOT possible to make a any positive CHANGE in them. They and many of present generations are LOST Generations of Pakistan and there is almost NO hope and NO positive solution (my opinion) left. NO system change is in View. Democracy been FAILED and many countries I mentioned above PROVED that with TOUGH hands they did CLEANING and put the basement of New Generation, and start a new system. A child born in 1979-1980 after the revolution of Iran is today 27-28 years old and brought up in new Iran after Shah.
One may say we have had Dictators in our history. Most of them started GOOD with tough hands but they proved ‘KIND’ dictators. Within few years they started show their kindness and democratic willing (which I feel, is often imposed on us by West), and slowly things gone Wrong and again same status came back. DO we really afford more such experiments?
Question is if NO ‘hard-hitting’ dictator rise within country, Risk for a bloody civil war seems to be Unavoidable. ( I hope and wish that I should be WRONG here). A bloody civil-war will cost much more dead than a hard hitting Dictator CLEAN UP. And risk will be greater than country’s geography will not be same. Operation Clean –up should not stop with only few, it should continue and be deep rooted. Only such operation will not be sufficient either, the basement of a new society, new culture should also be started. A totally new EDUCATIONAL system is badly Needed.
By such a action, of course, whole West world will cry for Democracy and condemn such actions, as they always did and do. But WHY NOT?
IS ANYBODY there to agree?
