(27 posts)
  1. railway minister Bilour said that railways all over the world, except in India, is running losses. That is not a good excuse for poor performance.

    jj Khan,
Here I must agree to you, I guess for the first time.
I was to post the same expression at the PIA thread.
Unfortunately most of the institutions such as Executive, Judiciary, Legislature, Education, Civil Service, Industry, Communication, sports, Entertainment, Health are at the verge of a constant decline.

I am going to quote Professor Alam "By failing to provide education, skills, and jobs, the state forces people to look outward, to turn to foreign shores for education, for jobs, and cultural inspiration. For every person who leaves for foreign shores, there are ten who are forced to stay at home, and whose education, careers, and very lives are organized around the chance of leaving the country. Pakistani society increasingly consists of would-be migrants waiting for their chance to dash out of the country’s airports, ports and border-crossings.
For sixty years, Pakistan has been managed by different factions of its ruling elites – the military, bureaucracy, landlords – taking turns to plunder the people, competing against each other to serve foreign masters, at first covertly, but of late more openly, more blatantly, more treasonously. So complete now is the alienation of the domestic elites from their own society that their bidding against each other, the domestic competition to sell the institutions of the ‘state’ is now conducted in open view."

Cancerous leadership who is dependent on foreign pay masters for guidence will lead our country to a disaster.

I beleive it is time for IMRAN KHAN to step in the RING and declare his intentions of leadeing Pakistan out of the bond of SLAVERY of america and west in general.

We need to be very investigative about the possible collapse of our important national institution. Bilour demands 30 billions for the survival of the railway. Railway has very large sized real estates. Some those real estates can be sold for the revival of the railway system.

What can be suspected is that if railway collapses then its real may be sold by the corrupt politicians on peanut prices.

Laloo Prasad Yadav vs Our Ghulam Ahmad Bilour

For their minister this appears on the wikipedia:
When he took over, the Indian Railways was a loss-making organization. In the 4 years under his leadership, it made a cumulative total profit of Rs. 25,000 crores (US $5.2 billion).
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lalu_Prasad_Yadav

    For our minister:
"Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, asked the authorities concerned to take immediate steps to resolve the issue of Railways, which has a downward trend.".
    http://www.aaj.tv/2011/08/efforts-being-made-to-bring-railways-back-on-track-bilour/

What the heck is this? "asked the authorities" Then what he is? What has he been doing so far?
Our ministers are so incompetent that they even can not assess the fall of an organisation which they are leading/governing. They wake up only when things are almost out of hand!

    Huh!

According to statistics : Amount of 10 lakh, fuel is being stolen and sold every day. there were more 600 engines but now only 56 are left, and these are not working in proper condition.

Prime minister gilani replied when asked about railway's bad condition that Bilore is our allay in govt. so we are supporting him. it means come join govt. and you got right to do corruption and eat haram money from public fund. Wake up public this is your money and they stealing it every second and no body cares about it. no law stops them.. wow what a great country this is.

Vividly, the corruption is there. Bilour appears to be a corrupt minister. What can be suspected is that the railway may be ended and its assets of billions will be sold at throw away prices to make money for politicians.

there is a race going on in the present coalition government to make maximum wealth.

Zardari, Gilani are on the top and their miniters are in the second line trying to fetch their share on the maximum.

PIA, Steel Mills, Railway, Haj, NICL, is the most prominent examples but ministry of petrolium, water and power, ports & shipping, Gas, Food, health, communication, IT, etc. etc. etc. nothing is behind the race.

Democracy is the best revenge of Musharraf.

The so called democratic are like vultures who see the Pakistanis are dead bodies and try to eat everything of them. Railway is one of the most important institutions of the nation. Its ending must be resisted by the best possible efforts. These democratic vultures are after the railway assets of billions.

It is in their interest to end it, but it will totally be a big loss to the nation.

Whether the railways runs with poor performance or comes to an end, in both cases the public can foresee heavy looting of the national institution.

Bilor ki billoria wah bhi wah. Corruption corruption Wah bhi wah. They are looting this country but there is no body to stop them bcoz it is public money. What great country for corruption. The name of pakistan should be at this time as Corruptionistan and on the currency notes the photo should be of Zardari with his **** smile.

How this system is facilitating them to do corruption openly. What our chief justice is doing from many years. Why people gave lives for it, for nothing ? useless?

What our nation got from this judiciary ? Chief justice and other institutions like ISI, FIA and army dont care about it. Wow what a country we live in. Best land for haram money

Very true that Iftikahr Chaudary's rhetoric claims made during the lawyers's Movement ended into smoke. He is a silent spectator in nos. of cases. Pakistan Railway is one of them.

The greedy eyes and minds of politicians seem to be focused on the real estate of the railway which is in the worth of trillions.
