PTI's popularity will widen the difference between the biggest political party (PPP) and the second biggest (PML-N). PTI is not likely to effect the PPP's position much, but definitely that of PML-N on nos. of seats.

Are you really so wise? I am not be so wise to claim myself as a wise person.
man does not claim to be more than he is
@"PTI's popularity will widen the difference between the biggest political party (PPP) and the second biggest (PML-N)."
PPP PMLN will come closer because of their corruption charges, and PTI will sweep coming election.
Lol.....what an "Unwise" prophecy. Sweep elections on the back of lotas and on the mantra of CHANGE!! A very revolutionary concoction if I might add.
@siddiqi73
I still doubt any "real" PTI member like Alvi or Haroon Rasheed etc. can win a seat from anywhere in Pakistan. New lotay who have joined PTI will certainly win seats mainly due to their political influence and baradri system.
It is shame they have closed Lota - election symbol of PTI; it was a legitimate thread to generate interest and growing trend in today's Pakistani politics which is now based on lotaism.
Very Wise 'iamsowise'
The newly inducted old politicians in PTI could not deliver goods to the nation through their previous political parties, how can be expect them to perform miracles in PTI?
@ST,
Dr. Alvi is actually my personal favourite and if he happens to contest an election from my constituency, I'll definitely vote for him (albeit if there isn't a N-League Candidate around :D). But the rest, I tend to agree with you would have a hard time getting votes from their own households and immediate family.
As for your thread....we had chagrined enough people there hence; Mission Accomplished ;)
@iamsowise
There is no doubt that PTI is the Pakistan's third biggest party.
Sorry bro, I have a doubt that PTI is the Pakistan's third biggest party. PTI is the Pakistan's biggest party, because PMLN=Sharif League and PPP=Bhutto (Zardari) have lost there credibility to be a party. You can call them family business.
Even PTI Opponent accepting the reality:
Hehehehehehe.....establishment aur agencies kay liya Deen-e-Imrani ko lana ab naguzeer ho giya hai.
How much votes pti got when it last contested elections ?
@Sharif Aadmi
One seat ONLY, tanga party etc........ :)
Can you explain NS attitude nowadays?
Rising popularity of PTI is making PPP stronger against PML-N in Punjab.
@HF
BS.

Bahi meeray since when i have become NS spokesman ?
Also , did i ask any illogical quesiton ? Whats the criterian for ranking the political parties ? isn't the votes secured?
The recent political hype created by a blend of multiple factors has clutched the entire Pakistani nation tight. Every party has girded up its loins and stepped into the battlefield. And so, It’s really hard to predict yet who would come out as a victor. The two mainstream partiesPML-N and PPP seem quite agitated and under an existential threat by Imran Khan’s Tehreek-e-Insaaf. The pace at which PTI has climbed ladders is really astonishing. Both PML-N and PPP seem to be lacking ‘that’ required verve now that the ‘other’ party has. However, PTI is venturing ahead with quantum leaps, and so is rightly called a “Tsunami”.
Objective focus would yield the view that the real battle is in fact between PML-N and PTI, because PPP has lost even the little credibility it had in the past. These 4 years of PPP’s rollercoaster regime are regarded by some as politics chaos and the worst 04 years of any elected ‘democratic’ government in the annals of Pakistan. Many of us believe that this already ramshackling nation is on the brink of precipice, courtesy the vices of corruption, depravity and avarice. A common man now finds it impossible to make his ends meet. The slogan “Roti Kapra Makaan” proposed by late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto (RIP) and Benazir Bhutto (RIP) seems to have ebbed away in the glitz of political clout. People are vying hard to eke the victuals of life, but seems like it’s way beyond a common man to earn for them anyways. The ‘load shedding’ and the massive increase in the prices of petroleum commodities have not left any hope of survival for the common man. I wonder how PPP will have the strength to ask for votes in the next elections. Do you really believe President Zardari in what he wants us to believe, through ‘Roti, Kapra, Makan’. I don’t!
Now since we are only left with Sharif’s PML-N and Khan’s PTI, let’s take a bird’s eye view of where these parties stand. PML-N accuses IK of seeking assistance from the omnipotent establishment of Pakistan. I believe PML-N should acknowledge the fact that their recent processions are really put to shame by PTI’s grand show of its fan following.
People actively responded to IK’s call and thronged to Minar-e-Pakistan and Mizar-e-Quaid in large scores. Though PML-N make sure they rant against PTI in all its following, but this propaganda has somehow failed to fade the enthusiasm of IK lovers. The cult-following of IK among all age groups in Pakistan has made PML-N revise and revamp its strategies. Now every second day a fudge is introduced by PML-N to win cheers at every subsequent party conference.
Pml-N’s proclivity of attempting to cry down IK’s shows is nothing but proverbial idiocy. Had PML-N curbed their efforts of slandering IK’s reputation, the situation would have been completely different from what it is now. IK blames PML-N for carrying out all its politics of mude-slinging on Khan’s personal life and nothing on no political basis. Effectively, IK has wrecked the nerves of his opponents and has made them apprehensive and volatile.
To put it all in a nutshell, PTI doesn’t lack impetus like other parties, rather it only needs to maintain its benchmarks. Let’s see whether IK’s PTI steals the show or becomes a part of the past like most of the other unfortunate parties have.

"Pathans,Punjabis,Kashmiris, baluchis,Sindhis and Urdu speaking."
so what?
there are all these ethnicities in PPP and in fact MQM as well. PTIans need to stop acting like angels. getting all ethnicities in one party does not solve problems.
Hussain Farooqui
"Rising popularity of PTI is making PPP stronger against PML-N in Punjab. "
No it is making PPP irrelevant in punjab.
@QKM,
No party can conduct such huge and historic jalsas in Lahore - the capital city of Punjab - and Karachi - the capital of Sindh back to back. Not PPP, not PMLN, and MQM can't even think about it.
This should tell you something. And the next Tsunami destination is Quetta.
Actually PPP could easily hold such big rallies in Lahore and Karachi.
Not currently. Not at all. Not in Lahore. PPP had to postpone announced jalsas in Punjab for some unknown reasons recently. Even PMLN could not hold such a big jalsa, what to say of PPP.
You can say
Pasha ki Mehrbanian
With only one seat given by Mush in 16 years in any assembly
@AK,
Pasha pe imaan rakhne wale, Allah pe imaan le aa to tu bhi ek acha forummer ban jaye ga.
Pasha jo bhi kar le teri help nahi kar sakta.
No person is indispensable. ZA Bhutto claimed himself to be indispensable. He claimed that the country would not move forward with him for more than 24 hours.
Do you think that we have moved forward ?
@HF,
ZAB did not have a good vision. He had a mentality of a dictator and has a very bad mental fusion about Islam and communism. He actually created a lot of problems for Pakistan when he had the opportunity to absolutely put Pakistan on the road to success.
ZAB ki aik aur bari kamzori yeh thi keh party banany ke baad pehlay he election mein jeet gia. IK abhi achhi tarah siasat paka raha hay. Pahlay aik seet jeeta, ab do teen ka plan hay.
Chand aur election ho jain to bahut bara leader ban jaiy ga aur pakka hoga.
