میرا سیمی فائنل !
موہالی کا میچ شروع ہونے میں ابھی چار گھنٹے گیارہ منٹ سات سیکنڈ باقی ہیں۔ایک چینل نے گذشتہ رات سے اپنے سکرین پر ٹکنگ کلاک چسپاں کردیا ہے۔دوسرے چینل کے مورننگ شو میں ایک مالک سمیت طوطا مہمانِ خصوصی ہے۔وہ بکھرے کارڈز میں سے پاکستان کا کارڈ بار بار نکال کر اپنے فن کا مظاہرہ کررہا ہے۔شاید اسے بھی پتہ چل گیا ہے کہ ممبئی میں ایک چونچ پھٹ ( بروزنِ منہ پھٹ) طوطے کا کیا حشر ہوچکا ہے !!
ایک چینل پر ایک خوبرو خاتون ٹیرو کارڈز کی مدد سے پاکستان جتوا رہی ہیں۔ایک اور چینل پر دو نجومی یہی کام کررہے ہیں۔جبکہ ایک چینل پر ایک ماہرِ دست شناسی موہالی کی وکٹ میں پڑنے والی لکیروں کی تصاویر پڑھنے کی کوشش کررہا ہے۔یہ بھی بتایا جارہا ہے کہ تیس تاریخ ہندو جوتشیوں نے دراصل اپنی ٹیم کو جتوانے کے لیے نکالی ہے لیکن وہ یہ بھول گئے کہ بدھوار کا رنگ ہرا ہوتا ہے اور یہی رنگ پاکستانی ٹیم کا بھی ہے۔
ملٹی نیشنل کمپنیوں کے ولولہ انگیز نغماتی اشتہارات کی بھی سکرینز پر بھرمار ہے۔( ان میں سے بیشتر ممبئی میں شوٹ اور پروڈیوس ہوتے ہیں)۔
موبائیل ایس ایم ایس کی گزشتہ شام سے بہار ہے۔تم کتنے طوطے مارو گے ، ہر گھر سے طوطا نکلے گا۔۔۔۔سیمی فائنل کی چاند رات مبارک ہو۔۔۔ دھونی کو دھون دو ، دھو ڈالو۔۔۔دودھ مانگا تو کھیر دیں گے ، کپ مانگا تو چیر دیں گے۔۔۔۔
میں دفتر جانے کے لیے باہر نکلا تو دیکھا کہ سامنے کے پٹرول پمپ پر موٹر سائکلوں کا سبز ہجوم ہے۔یہ موٹر سائکل ابھی سے گھرر گھرر ، گھن ، گھوں گھوں کررہے ہیں۔ہر ٹنکی فل ہورہی ہے مبادا شام تک پٹرول ملے نہ ملے۔شاہد بھائی کے مداح ہر ممکنہ چوکے اور ہر آؤٹ پر ہوائی فائرنگ کے لیے گولیاں گن رہے ہیں۔
ٹیکسی دفتر کی طرف جارہی ہے۔ پرچم بردار موٹر سائکلیں کبھی ادھر سے تو کبھی ادھر سے نکل رہی ہیں۔ٹیکسی ڈرائیور نے دورانِ سفر صرف ایک بات پوچھی
’بھائی صاحب کیا وہاں بارش ابھی تک چالو ہے یا رک گئی ہے‘ ؟
’رک گئی ہے !‘

دفتر میں ہر شخص کے کان پر کنٹوپ چڑھا ہے۔ٹاس پاکستان ہار چکا ہے۔سہواگ اور تندولکر نے عمر گل کی گیند کو فٹ بال کی طرح کھیلنا شروع کردیا ہے۔۔۔۔پچاسیویں رن پر مجھے یہ ایس ایم ایس موصول ہوتا ہے کہ
’ ابھی ابھی یاد آیا کہ ہمارا قومی کھیل تو ہاکی ہے‘۔
اچھی بات یہ ہے کہ تنڈولکر کو چار زندگیاں دینے اور خراب فیلڈنگ کے باوجود پاکستان نے انڈیا کو دو سو ساٹھ رنز کے سکور پر روک لیا ہے۔اگر حاضر دماغی سے کام لیا جائے تو یہ کوئی بڑا سکور نہیں ۔۔۔لیکن ۔۔لیکن۔۔۔لیکن۔۔لیکککککن ۔۔۔
جب آٹھ کھلاڑی آؤٹ ہوئے تو ایک اور ایس ایم ایس آیا
’ممبئی میں سری لنکا بھرکس نہ نکال دے تو نام بدل دینا‘
چھیالیسویں اوور کے بعد میں دفتر سے نکلا۔گھپ اندھیرے میں سنسان سڑک پر صرف ایک رکشہ کھڑا ہے ۔اس کا ڈرائیور موبائیل فون کا سپیکر آن کرکے کمنٹری سن رہا ہے ۔۔۔
گلشنِ اقبال چلوگے ؟

MemberA final between an asian and a non asian team would have been ideal but it didnt happened.
May the best team win.
I am sure that my fellow Pakistanis who are a cricket loving nation will today cheer up for the team that plays best cricket.

Sri Lanka has a great batting line up and in Murli and Malinga have a potent bowling attack so your wish may come true.
I am wondering, if Pakistan and Sri Lanka had been one country prior to 1947 , if Pakistan and Sri Lanka had been neighbours with a single boundary, would you have cheered for Sri Lanka.

I was just extending your humor but my humor is bit crude.
I didnt mean to imply that any player of Pakistan has accepted any money or have done something mischevious as I dont know about it and if I dont know, I tend not to say anything about it.

i dont think so its appropriate for the daughters of Afridi to appear to much in Media...i mean all three of them are so cute especially the youngest one mashaAllah but too much of public appearance at this very young age is not right and decent!
they were seen giving interviews on every other channel during last days of semi final!
