Pakistani Military Killing Fleeing Swati Civilians

Witnesses Say Military Helicopters Targeted Families Crossing Mountain Path

As the Pakistani military’s offensive against the Swat Valley continues, around 1.45 million are reported to have successfully fled. For several families today attempting to leave their homes, that trek ended in disaster as the Pakistani military attacked and killed several of them, and wounded an unknown number of others. Women and children were among the slain.

Witnesses who managed to escape the attack and reach a town in Upper Dir say the party of civilian families were crossing a mountain path after leaving their homes in the town of Matta, when they were attacked by the military’s helicopter gunships. Matta was the latest Swati town to be targeted in the ongoing offensive.

Police confirmed the incident, but declined to say how many civilians were slain. Locals put the number at 12 to 14. The Pakistani military has been harshly criticized for its indiscriminate shelling against residential areas of Buner District, but this appears to be the first time they have deliberately targeted civilians. So far, there has been no comment from the military except to update the number of “suspected miscreants” killed in the offensive.

Allah سبحانه وتعالى says in the glorious Qur’an:

وَمَن يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِناً مُّتَعَمِّداً فَجَزَآؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِداً فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَاباً عَِيماً

“And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein, and the Wrath and the Curse of Allâh are upon him, and a great punishment is prepared for him.” [Surah An-Nisa'a 4: 93]

RasulAllah سلم و عليه الله صلى said,

إذا التقى المسلمان بسيفيهما فالقاتل والمقتول في النار , قلنا يا رسول الله هذا القاتل فما بال المقتول قال انه كان حريصا على قتل صاحبه

“When two Muslims face each other in fighting and one kills the other, then both the killer and the killed are in the hell-fire.” The Companions asked, “O Messenger of Allah, this is the killer - what about the poor person who has been killed?” The Prophet, سلم و عليه الله صلى, said “He had the intention to kill his companion.”

this swat brutality will eat the roots of pakistans society.remember my words that swat operation by army has damaged pakistans interests so much that only a miracle can save pakistan
and what was the crime of swat people?that they demanded sharia laws
like nawaz shareef is popular in lahore and altaaf husain is popular in sindh maulana fazlullah and sufi muhammad are famous and loved in swat .i know as i have been there.but we killed the families of both fazlulah and sufi muhammad
what if someone harms nawaz shareef in lahore and altaaf husain in karachi.wont whole country be engulfed in fire?

we have done similar thing in swat.first in laal mosque incident about 100 gals from swat were murdered by our rulers and now the whole swat has been destroyed
remember my words that this swat and waziristan operation will most probably harm pakistan much more than america israel or india combined could harm us

but here in present conflict both parties are not muslims.our army is taking side and instructions from kufaars for this operation.and by the following ayat of quran whoever even befriends kufaars is among them

now see our army and civil leadership meeting with nato and american chiefs to get them instructions on operation against nwfp islamists
so do trust me both parties are not muslims.only one is on right path.and if you are lucky you will choose that side

War and violence is not a solution to anything at all. War is imposed on Pakistan from outside as is the reaction to that war carefully engineered by the same forces. This combination of war and counter violence is called the ‘war within Pakistan.’ Peace is the only answer to the imposed war the jews and planned balkanization of the country.

Disagree Brother, This is not Christianity that you give them the other cheek if they hit you on one. Jihad becomes mandatory-fard ain if Muslims are attacked. It was Kuffar that attacked Afghanistan, Waziristan and now Swat. Those who join Kuffar plans and support invaders cannot be called Muslims.

Taliban Kill Two soldiers in Afghanistan

It is with great sadness that the Ministry of Defence must announce that two soldiers, one from the Light Dragoons, one from the Parachute Regiment, were killed in Helmand Province today, Saturday 30 May 2009.

Both soldiers were killed as a result of an explosion that happened whilst on a deliberate operation near Musa Qal’eh, They were serving with the Brigade Reconnaissance Force.

but it has no other option too.

I didnt get your this statement.

My take would be to stop acting as a rented army and start acting as a national army.As a first step stop this madness.Stop calling it cancer cause they know you are calling it that cause its not your body.And sell outs be tried in courts of law no matter how many generals,or crooked politicians are they.A grass rooted mutiny within army is needed.Or otherwise don't think that it will be over when that rented Army would declare "victory".

That blood feud has just started.

It was hardly the greatest military victory in Pakistani history, but you certainly wouldn’t have known that by their eagerness to show off a captured base belonging to the Tehreek-e Taliban Pakistan in the Swat Valley.

The base, little more than a tent and a collection of rocks strewn over a small cavern at the top of the mountain, was captured by the military today after a fierce battle. Upper Swat commander Major General Saajed Ghani said the capture of the tent was “symbolic,” and claimed that 200-300 fighters had been killed in the capture. Despite this assertion, the military captain who led the final assault on the tent said there were no bodies found at the scene.
