    What about ALLAMA IQBAL, DR ABDUS SALAM and Others of their kind.
    Why in the past many years no one have been able to make any movie on them while on Imran millions can be spent. ?????

    Is Imran a bigger personality than them??? or .....Pakistani Generals dont know about them as Our Generals know about Shakespear but Iqbal is not their Subject.

    Fair and lovely is a well known brand in pakistan and Imran Khan is the perfect candidate for them as afterall all Pakistanis are Caucassians and they have to prove that their leaders are like that. Just like India have Italian Sonia Gandhi and we will counter the looks with Hina Rabbani and now Imran Khan.

    @ Scandinavian If God Willing I will definitely make a movie about Allama Iqbal and Also for Abdus Salam.

    As far as Imran is concerned I dont have any concern for him as for me he is just a captain of a former cricket team while in his fifteen years of Politics he have never been able to produce any good politician in his party.

    So if u want to talk about personalities like Iqbal, Quaid and Salam then i am ready besides I am not in a Mood in a **** for tat Burger style discussion of politicians and painting of me as a Some individual of some party.

    I think it's a good a good idea to make a film on the great Iqbal. Please go for it, but why do you want to make a film on Abdus Salaam? What has he done for Pakistan?

    1)Abdus Salam is the only Noble laureate of Pakistan. And in Islamic countries there are only two Noble Laureates in Science in History and one belongs from Pakistan.
    Is not that the sense of Pride for all Pakistanis????

    2) Secondly DR Abdus Salam was the SCEINCE ADVISOR of Pakistan from 1960 till 1974 which form the basis of many new Science agencies in Pakistan like PINSTECH etc.

    3) Dr Abdus Salam was the Founding member of SUPARCO ( Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO)) and SUPARCO will launch its first satellite on AUGUST !4,2011 .

    4) DR Abdus Salam established Theoratical Research Group in Physics in Pakistan Atomic Energy Commision which led to the initiation of research in Atomic Physics in Pakistan.

    5) DR Abdus Salam bring back Ishfaq Ahmed from Switzerland and Dr Ishfaq's team created the first design of Nuclear Weapons for Pakistan in PINSTECH:

    6) In October 1961 Salam travelled to USA and as a result NASA Established a FLIGHT TEST RANGE IN SOMIANI BALOCHISTAN and now It is the Pakistan's only Flight test range for Satellites and Rcokets. DR ABDUS SALAM WAS THE FIRST DIRECTOR OF THAT INSTITUTE.

    7)In 1964 Salam was made head of IAEA Pakistan and served there for Pakistan and represented our country for 10 years.

    8)In 1965 Under the supervision of Dr Abdus Salam Pakistan got a first small Nuclear reseach reactor from USA.

    9)Pakistan Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology is established by DR Abdus Salam.

    10) As an honour Dr Abdus Salam Name is now the name of the world leading Theoratical Physics research centre in the world.

    i) In Italy there is one Abdus Salam Institute and each year Pakistani Physicts are selected to work there as a commemoration to Abdus Salam. This institute have special scholarships schemes for Pakistani physicists in the Pakistan.

    If these achievements like founding Sparco and establishing PINSTECH, FLIGHT TEST RANGES, PAEC TGP group and establishment of Pakistan's First Nuclear reactor , Bringing Ishfaq Ahemd back from Switzerland to start a Nuclear Program in Pakistan are not enough then tell me what is meant to be a Genuine contribution to Pakistan.???

    A small documentary film is now being made for him and is due to be released in 2011 but I dont think our cinemas will Allow that movie to be Produced since they had a NEW KAPTAAN right now.

    The title of the movie could be, "The Last Romance", featuring bold and ugly "Kim Barker" and the bald and fat "Nawaz $harif (aka Kuggoo)".

    اپنی ایک ہی سیٹ ہوتی ہے میرے بھائی . جب نواس شریف کو ضیا لے کر آیا تھا تو اسے کوئی جانتا بھی نہ تھا . پوری مثل لیگ اجنسیوں نے اس کی جھولی میں ڈال دی اور پاکستان میں اصل سیاست کا خاتمہ ہوا . اس کے بعد مشرف نے یہی کام شوکت عزیز کے لئے کیا اور الیکشن جیتنے کے بعد پوری جماعت اس کے پیچھے کھڑی ہو گئی.

    اب اگر کوئی عوام میں جا کر پزیرائی حاصل کر رہا ہے تو ڈرائنگ روم میں بیٹھ اسے رونے کوئی فائدہ نہیں آپ بھی جدوجہد کریں اور عوام میں جا کر دیکھیں لیکن اب کی بار جس طرح پنجاب کا حال کیا ہے عوام سب جانتے ہیں پیسا ملک سے بہار لے گئے. پولٹری کا بزنس شروع کرتے ہی غریبوں سے وہ بھی چھین لیا

    Good long list of good work from Abdus Salam, which should be acknowledged. Since this is not a thread about Abdus Salam, but the Kaptaan, then please create another thread for your hero. In that thread please enlighten us what he did after 1974? How did he serve Pakistan from a western capital?

    YOU SIMPLY FLUSH ALL THE GOOD WORK OF DR ABDUS SALAM AS YOU THINK HE IS LIKE NOTHING.
    I HAD ALREADY MENTIONED WHAT HE DID AFTER 1974 as well and you are blind enough to check out that.

    Now I have realized that why Anyone who wants to work for Pakistan after sometime dont have the same love for his country anymore.

    Pakistani people dont Derserve the people like DR ABDUS SALAM and I wonder why he was born here the first place.

    Pakistan is a Place for Majority rule and complete disreagrd of educated people.A place where If you disagree on a certain issue then you will be bashed and in the end you will be called a Traitor.

    PAKISTAN IS A COUNTRY THAT DONT NEED ANY HELP AS PAKISTANIS WILL NEVER RECOGNIZE YOUR WORK AND ALSO WILL NOT LET YOU WORK WHATEVER THE REASON MAY BE.

    IT IS A SHAME TO WORK FOR PAKISTAN OR PAKISTANIS ANYMORE WHO DONT ACKNOWLEDGE THE WORK OF ANY INDIVIDUAL AND BRING IDEOLOGY AND RELIGION IN EVERYTHING.

    Also I will remain a Pakistani but No body can take my Mother tongue and my Language away from me as well or my culture by Exploiting the Pakistaniat in me..

    Although, he had left the country, Salam did not hesitate to advise the PAEC and Theoretical and Mathematical Physics Group on important scientific matters, and kept his close association with TPG and PAEC.

    In 1974, the Pakistan Parliament made a constitutional amendment that declared Ahmadi Muslims as 'non-Muslims'. In protest, Salam left Pakistan for London. Even after his departure, Salam did not completely terminate his connection to Pakistan, and kept his close association with the Theoretical Physics Group as well as academic scientists from Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC).[87] Leaving Pakistan in protest was one of Salam's greatest regrets.[93] At ICTP, Salam had launched series of post-research programmes for Pakistani academics with whom he had developed extremely close relations. In 1983, Riazuddin and Asghar Qadir returned to ICTP where they had joined Salam, and stayed with him until 1990

    I don't want to malign Abdus S. He had his contributions for Pakistan, but I refuse to have him in the same category as Allama Iqbal (The Quaid and Allama Iqbal are in a different league.) or for that matter someone like Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, Edhi, Imran Khan. He should not have left Pakistan, because Pakistan needed all the know how they could gather, and off course he could not contribute in the same way as if he had lived in Pakistan. That's my personal opinion, which is not based on Abdus Salam's religion. Maybe Insaaniat's intention was not to equate them. He can clarify the issue himself, if he wishes.
