  1. Pentagon Gets Around Troop Ban in Pakistan by Outsourcing Weapons Transport posted by [Redacted] on Saturday, May 29, 2010

Unable to deploy troops in Pakistan, but still in need of ways to transport weapons across it and into Afghanistan, the U.S. government is looking for defense contractors who can take on the task of logistical support through Pakistani territory. The Department of Defense has put out requests for companies to bid on the risky job of moving equipment and weaponry through sensitive areas of Pakistan—and to collect intelligence related to threat assessments.
The Nation has reported that U.S. personnel will be involved in the supply operation carried out by the contractor, which could mean the effort is being used to bypass the stated policy of no troops in Pakistan.
“Perhaps most striking about this US military contract solicitation is the admission by the military that contractors are being used for shipping and guarding military hardware as a run-around to the current official policy of the US and Pakistan governments that the US military does not conduct operations in Pakistan,” writes Jeremy Scahill in The Nation.
Among those interested in the job are an Afghan firm connected to the CIA and run by the son of Afghanistan’s defense minister, General Abdul Rahim Wardak, as well as a Pakistani company linked to the controversial security firm Xe, formerly known as Blackwater.

  2. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

I believe Pakistani people have selected this fate for themselves, over the course of decades that have passed, since Pakistan was created.

Over the course of past 6+ decades, countless people have passed who have requested people of Pakistan to stop being unjust, to come back to path of justice. To-date people of Pakistan are not ready to listen. Why should they have prosperity ?

    It is people of Pakistan who;

    (1) have themselves opened the door for local as well as foreign oppression/aggression, its continuation

    (2) are not interested in doing justice

Why should anyone condole as well as defend unjust people ?

  3. HK, This is not fair. The people of Pakistan = 170 million simple people, 10 million elite and hangers on. We are suffering because of the 10 million crazy, money-mad people and you think 170 million should be sacrificed for the stupidity and venality of a fraction of the popuation? Allah help us all.

This article is an attempt to cover up certain facts that we already (should) know:
    1. That US troops are ALREADY here

    2. They ARE involved in carrying out military operations
    http://fkpolitics.wordpress.com/2010/02/04/how-can-you-kill-marines-that-dont-exist

    3. They ARE admittedly now at drone bases, maintaining and arming them (Remember US admitted Blackwater personnel was doing that job before but their contract for that has not been renewed and it is US armed forces personnel who have taken over that job as well)

    4. There are hundreds of so-called US military trainers / advisers (e.g. near Tarbela, as has been admitted) training our mercenary troops.

    5. Latest US policy authorizes US troops to engage in clandestine activities means more of the same without having to admit it...

Although achtung's comments reflect his favor for US interference and intrusion into Pakistan and that is quite unpatriotic of him not to object to presence of foreign troops on Pakistani soil for what ever reason.

Current government is responsible for the sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan by not allowing this to happen. Foreign troops prowling inside Pakistan is out of question by all means.

However I would appreciate if you express yourself without using the word 'rectum' and the likes. I believe you are able to speak you mind without resorting to unethical use of words.

No he is not. Unfortunately or fortunately, this is common amongst these true muslims. The people that are ought to protect the honor of everybody else, which doesn't even exist.

Apologies...such an asinine comment just got me going...

Thanks for your insight into "true muslims". Where would be without it!

"The people that are ought to protect the honor of everybody else, which doesn't even exist. "

I think I know what you are trying to say (though your phrasing it truly stinks) but then again you are misinterpreting, as usual.

  10. All smoke and mirrors, smoke and mirrors. We know they are here, the US troops, we know what their plans are, we know who the traitors are, we even know, I think, who might be trying to protect this country from even further harm, yet we keep getting distracted by any passing event from the overall purpose of saving our country.

I know how much Islam hates rebellions and revolts against the lawful leaders of any Muslim people. But in defence of the land of Islam, it would be absolutely permissible. One seriously wrong move on the part of USans, the country will arise like one man. And then the Revolution will take place.

P.S. Come to think of it, achtung above made a pretty Muslim statement. Reminded me somewhat of Tartushi, the Muslim lawyer of Spain, quoted several times by Iqbal, who wrote "Forty years of tyranny are better than one hour of anarchy." Await your hour, but await it in respect of the laws of Islam.

  11. Your worries are abosultely genuine, American special forces are alreay in Pakistan, their Base camp is in University town Peshawar as university town is a hub of guest houses, Provincial govt(ANP) orderd owners to leave that area and one complettly new camp/bunker is under construction near Warsak Dam Peshawar. im afraid to say that, there are clear chances that Peshawar could become a battlefield within few months time.
Us administration/Army is following former CIA officer's advice.
