Personal vendetta in politics - another disappointmet

    PML-N wont table any discussion or resolution in parliament on swat issue, FATA issue, drone issue, power shortage, judge issue, NRO, Balochistan issue, or any other Pakistani issue.

    However, they are all speedy gonzales against Musharraf.

    Nawaz Sharif's reputation of an avengeful person is not entirely false.

    This also shows his mental level. People tend to get mad at me when I mention Siri Paey, but this is the reality. Nawaz Sharif must quit having Siri Paya breakfast. I see no signs of improvement.

    By no means I am opposing Musharraf's trial. I am just disappointed by the politics and mental level of the leader of Pakistan's second biggest political party. This shows how screwed up his priorities are and an acute lack of statemanship.

    Nawaz Shareef is a true pakistani, he does not forgive!

    and he is very very power hungry, he knows that complete change comes from power so he tries to absorb all forms of power...

    and he pretends to be dumb! but he is not! he pretends to be dumb!

    Siri pay is not a healthy item, i dont understand this joke

    He is power hungry and he tries to absorb all forms of power. Remember Sharia bill and his bid to become ameer-ul-momineen?? No disagreements there. He tried to do that last time and ended up in Jeddah and our nation ended up in the hands of Musharraf. Now you tell me, he is dumb or not?

    If someone cant frame his policies in a given context or circumstances then he is the biggest idiot and the most unlikely politician.

    Because he carried the mission of Zia. In the beginning he respresented what Zia represented. He respresented "state politics" as opposed to PPP's "public politics". He represented "right" and the "state" relative to PPP who represented "left" and "awam".

    Also, his emergence as a leader had more to do with army and intelligence agencies who were looking for an alternative to "security risk" of "PPP" than his own charisma or leadership qualities.

    He has obviously came a long way but this was the main reason behind his popularity.

    And because he represented"state" rather than "awam" that is why such a large number of "awam" supports him.

    But of course we know that he has no support of "awam" and wins elections only because of GHQ otherwise he could never be even a councillor.

    Also if he had been a true representative of public than instead of opposing, he would have negotiated with dictator msuharraf and accepted him as president as did the great saviour of Pakistan, the most honest of all leaders, God's greatest gift to humanity, the ever truthful and principled, Hazrat Benazir Bhutto Shaheed rehmat ullah alaih.

    No, you did'nt get my point. Zia also had some popular support and I am not denying Nwaz Sharif's popular public support.

    Shame on you to accuse BB shaheed of negotiating with Musharraf. You should ask yourself how your brave leader was able to come back to Pakistan. BB shaheed negotiated with the dictator so politicians can come back and kick Musharraf out. Nawas Sharif negotiated with dictator to sign his maafi nama and run away.

    My my .... Am I missing something here?

    But there is no need to be hyper. I did not say that there was no secret clause of the agreement between mush and BB (which both of them also did not know) that would have allowed NS to come back and kick mush out.

    But of course Hazrat Benazir Bhutto Shaheed rematullah alaih, negotiated with mush only to ensure Nawaz's return to Pakistan. She did not accept mush as legal president nor did she agree to accept him as president after elections if he installed her as PM. She was so selfless and devoted to Pakistan that she could never do such a thing.

    Leave it, you wont understand. You are blinded by your love for Lahore Badshah and hate for PPP. You obviously have no clue what is politics all about. For public support, just compare BB shaheed's reception at Jinnah Terminal with Nawaz Sharif's return on Lahore airport, where 200 people showed up to receive him and Nawaz Sharif was kicked back to where he came from. Yes, the same NAwaz Sharif who said in Nabvi and Haram that there is no maafi nama and no agreement and on his coming back to Pakistan he himself confessed the maafi nama was for 5 years only. Later his maafi nama was presented in the court of law. Yes, the same maafi nama he denied ever existed in Masjid haram and nabvi.

    Coming back to the topic, its important how he would not contribute towards good governance at all but jump all over his enemy musharraf. What kind of patriotism and national politics is that?

    Forget NS. He is nothing, just a protege of establishment who never had any public support.

    The best thing that ever happened to Pakistan is the Bhutto family. The fact is that Pakistan is blessed to have such an exalted family.

    The Great Hazrat Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed united the country under one banner even after his desperate attempts to placate Mujeeb ur Rehman and keep East pakistan were thwarted. Then his never ending love for Pakistan and democracy led him to overthrow opposition provincial governments and kill the traitor opposition politicians. He had the great foresight to see that only by nationalizing the thriving industries and banks, can Pakistan progress economically. Due to his nationalization policies, Pakistan has become an economic powerhouse today.

    Then we were lucky to have Hazrat Murtaza Bhutto Shaheed and Hazrat Shahnawaz Bhutto Shaheed who established that great peace movement "Al-Zulfiqar" to strengthen Pakistan. They knew that PIA needed some marketing support and new routes, so they hijacked PIA plane and took it to Kabul and Damascus as part of PIA's marketing campaign.

    They also realized that Pakistan railways was in desperate need of an overhaul so they arranged for some some railwaylines to be torn up. Also they wanted to improve the landscape of some Pakistani markets so they arranged for soem bomb blasts there as part of their landscape beautification project.

    The icing on the cake was Hazrat Benazir Bhutto Shaheed rematullah alaih, who provided a shining model of a truly democratic, honest and responsible government for the whole world. While she was not in the government, she promoted Pakistan's interests by petitioning USA to stop providing F-16s and other supplies to Pakistan as these were weakening Pakistan's defence against India.

    She went on to totally change the world's perception about Pakistan. People used to think that Pakistan was a poor and backward country. She showed the world that Pakistan was a rich and developed country whose citizens could own mansions in surrey and accounts in Swiss Banks all through honest money made by hardwork.

    So all Pakistanis should thank Bhutto family five times a day after each prayer for their tremendous contributions to Pakistan.
