so every political party has to come under discussion no matter its PPP,PMLN,PMLQ ,ANP or MQM.that's a different story ,that because PPP and MQM are in Govt so they face more criticism as well as more lime light .

last week MQM was in lime light ..and what reflects at the forum.
as our visitors do discuss current affairs .
what they read in paper,what they watch at tv.what they read at net ........
so it was more MQM then ever.
but now its getting down and the dust is settling down.

MemberI dont think ,pkpolitics is biased.MQM, PPPP are awami parties having popular support.But a couple of their top leaders are damaging the image of their parties by playing in the hands of Musharraf.NS and Shehbaz sharif are ganjas but still are more handsome than Altaf Kalia.You have forced me to advise that personal attacks can result in severe counter attacks.

u should revive it as it has gone in lower bottom of the list as new threads are popping up.i also has initiated a thread about Govt lack of action to handle issues .
which has got nothing to do with MQM.
u and others can start more threads about serious and worth pondering issues.

MemberWe should not be personal when we discuss any leader whether NS or Altaf.MQM themselves have raised these issues,now.I personally like their philosophy of sereving middle classes and progressive stance. But siding with a dictator is in- comprehensible.Ns perhaps joined Zia as a reaction of Bhutto,s nationalisation of his mills. But now he tried to support PPPP,in the beginning stage of their govt. I am not biased in favor of any leadre. I see +and - of each and then give my opinion.

Discussing an observation about pkp is the right thing. However, If you want this site to go toward the middle lane, anti dictator, anti thugs, anti corrupt, pro democracy, pro constitution, pro-provincial autonomy and pro rule of law (for everyone), you should discuss those thing here. I am sure admin of this site is keeping a close eye on this forum. S/He should take our suggestion into account.
As far as weighing various parties in the current situations, here is my take.
NS leaguer used to be Lahori thugs but somewhat tamed now (thanks to bandooq mafia). Pakistan deserves a leader better than NS.
PPP current leadership (Zardari) is a pathological liar. Do not expect article 6, nullification of 17 amendments, and transparent election commission from him. BB was an arrogant and fame seeker woman specially when journalist asked hard questions during interviews.
JI is covertly supporting domestic terrorism. Sympathizes with AlKaydda and Talibaan.
PTI has always been behind the curve. Lots of political catching to do. Good luck.
MQM started by the thugs. But has brought articulating leadership now. Despite massive rigging in the election, their Karachite vote bank is a winning solid. Extortion is still the name of the game for MQM.
Biggest corruption in Pakistan is at the higher echelons of the bandooq mafia. Very few people know about it. Media will be scared to death to mention about it, even if they learn about it.
