It was not long, when PML N was not taking PTI serious, even NS claimed IK is not a thread for him. But, I think, PML N has now started to realize PTI growing support in Punjab at grass root level. Every other representative of PML N is now throwing allegations on IK. This is indeed not going to do much damage for PTI but will bring PTI at nose to nose in next elections, where the battle is going to be between PML N & PTI in PUNJAB.

Actually thats true. I was surprised hoe n league was attacking immu even though he does ot hold a single seat. I think n.league is afraid of getting their votes divided by pti and zardari chacha making the most out of it.

Still I don't see any competition IK could cause to NS.(It is less than a year that IK candidate lost his zamanat against NS candidate in NA 55) . Whereas the statements from PML(N) are concerned. IK was criticizing NS since over one year on each plate form including talk shows in which he always try to be solo participant without any opposing candidate. I think now PML(N) has decided that enough is enough. So now on you could watch a lot of hidden and conflicting aspects of IK's politics coming out from NS media cell. Like the 13 questions to IK which has badly exposed IK on RD case. Now he has to face NS media power which is the strongest in Pakistan.

In a free and fair election IK will win hands down, u got to be very **** person to vote for NS.

However we need a fair election, otherwise NS and his crooks will fake the election ( remember 36 million fake vote).

Pretty hopeless article by irfan siddiqui as expected but n league is throwing its top guns. Mujhay tou lagta hai immu kee establishment se baat chal rahee hai aur n.league kee haalat patli horahee hai. Immu will prey on ns vote bank and q.league and zardari will benefit.

3. Imran is recycling other party's garbage
4. Imran's role in Judicial movement
5. Imran's party leaders role in Judicial movement named Hamid Khan
6. Imran lead a movement in support of refrendum
7. Imran recently met in-service General tat he didn't name
8. Imran ran a campaign of his ex-brother in law, conservative
9. Imran was praising Nawaz Sharif until very recently

If PML-N is not taking PTI seriously then why so much hue and cry from every PML-N representative coming on TV and attacking PTI/IK?

Just recently it is Ahsan Iqbal and now Kh. Asif.

If PTI is "almost non-existing" then leave them alone ;)

I agree PTI has become the fastest growing party in Punjab. This was evident from the grand jalsa led by IK only a few days ago regarding RD issue

I have been told there were approx 1 million people and IK gave a fiery speech.......Time for all other political parties to run away!

Khawaja Asif had to remind PTI and IK about their true auqat; that's about it. Don't loose your sleep over reading too much between the line there, old buddy. If the thought of PTI and IK sweeping PML (N) helps you fan club member reach climax, then please knock yourself out!!!

@Siddique, Imran Khan's aukat is more than the entire Khawaja Asif's family put together, including his dad who served military general Zia.

Same is true for Nawas Sharif, a mediocre corrupt person in front of a national hero Imran Khan.

Now think what is the "aukat" of those who support people like Nawas Sharif?

I don't think they will do that. Instead there will be some counter "allegations" :) This is the only way they know to answer legitimate questions.

Nawas Sharif, urf Geeder-e-Punjab, shows himself as a "faqeer" to the authorities. He has transferred his corruption money to his family members, and is trying to fool the nation he doesn't have assets abroad.

He is the same person who showed himself as a recipient of loan from HIS DAUGHTER in his documents submitted to election commission.

PML N is running scraed and for that very reason,Sharifs are not feeling healthy.
As Iqbal says "Tu ghuroob hone wala,mai tuloo hone wala".Pakistan now has no space for criminals and corrupts.Like Shah of Iran,Sharif won't be allowed to be burried in their own land but the land they have never been loyal to...

No one can make any guess regarding how many seats any party can win?But one can see the change in the mood of the voters.In Punjab,initially the criteria for voting was Baradarism,and the political influence any party can provide them in getting jobs and getting decision in their favor due to Thana Culture and flawed juidicial system.

But now people have started realizing unless or untill soical and political structure is not fixed,they would always have to bow down in front of these criminals and corrupts.

A simple visit to any village or city of Punjab can tell u the change in the mood of voters.Another wind blow like Raymond Davis would surely make them familiar with truth.

I have my sources living in Lahore, Multan and Pindi and they have told me still baradri system is strong in Punjab and even stronger during election time and at the ballot box. I have not visited Punjab for the last 10 years but I may be wrong in my analysis.

This is good news if baradri system is waning as it should be to get rid of this obsolete system.

But PTI supporters on this forum tell us how strong and popular Imran is in Punjab. I have not visited Punjab for the last 10 years so my knowledge about Punjab is not very good. Surely with his growing popularity, Imran will take some conservative votes of PML-N to benefit PML-Q and PPP in some urban Punjab seats. Well, see what happens to them in the coming election.

Doesn@t need to do anything, as people in punjab have realised the true colours of Nawaz Sharif (just go to punjab and ask 100 random people, you will get your answer).
People are hungry, crime has increased, they are losing there jobs, do you think that they are that stupid to vote for nawaz sharif. Also this raymond davis case hasn't helped and finally the lota issue has not helped either.

The reason for this is firstly can IK achieve fair elections procedure through the courts? (you haven't forgotten over 30 million vote scandal)
Secondly will NS allow Ik to win in Punjab. NO!
May Allah protect Imran, as there is a fear that they might try to get rid of him, and then blame someone else.
If IK can get past these 2 points, he will win hands down!

It's not 90 where the battle is between two parties.That decade is over baby.PA160 battle was clear proof where PML N had to resort on rigging to win elections against PTI and PPP,PML Q and JI were nowhere against PTI and PML N.

Are you sure or over-optimistic about the political scene in Punjab? My sources have told me otherwise like baradri system is still very strong in Punjab and PPP and PML-N are the main beneficiary of this obsolete system.
