One day they will demand to lift the ban on cocaine, heroin and other drugs. They are the real enemy of Pakistan, they use ZIA as an excuse to blur the image of Pakistan!

In a country as big as Pakistan, there cannot be uniformity of views. Having different views than the majority of the population is not bad per-se. What is bad is trying to impose a minority view over the majority.

If the proponents of secularism have public support, then they should try to change the constitution. If not, then they should accept the views of the majority.

But the worst lot are the people who try to defy a legally enacted law. They are criminals and should be treated as such. Every breach of law is condemnable. So as long as ban on liquor is a part of our law, anyone defying it is a criminal and has to be treated as such.

First thing, N-League did not make this demand. Ayaz Ameer did and I am sure this was his personal demand and not a party policy.

Secondly, CJ's suo moto on this case is surprising. This case is too small to be taken notice by the biggest court of the country. It almost seems to me there is a Supreme Court MEdia Cell which advices CJ on how to be in news.

To me the ray of hope is Ch. Iftikhar whenever he contests in elections next. He unfortunately chose to become an illegal CJ as a result of CJ movement.

I wish he formally joins politics and makes his own party.
