Police beat doctor involved in Kharotabad incident.

    Are the security agencies really this stupid? After all the criticism they go and beat the doctor who did post-mortem on the 5 people shot dead.

    QUETTA: A surgeon, who conducted post-mortem of five foreigners shot dead by FC personnel, has been allegedly wounded by policemen, Geo News reported.

    Wounded surgeon Dr Baqar Shah went to Civil Hospital for medical treatment.

    Talking to Geo News in the hospital, Dr Baqar said that he was taking dinner outside the local hotel where some police personnel came and started beating him.

    Dr Baqar received wounds on his head in the violence incident.

    He conducted post-mortem of five foreigners including three women shot dead by FC personnel and presented report before inquiry tribunal.

    The problem is so widespread and one of the many factors why we can't get a handle on the law and order situation.

    I am almost suspecting as a result of inquiry and if they are penalized, police and other para military forces are going to defect and make their own ghunda group resulting in army operations against them.

    These forces get paid very little, their work hours and work conditions are brutal, their enemy terrorist are well-equipped and have sympathies of our "new generation of revolutionaries" and they are under constant threat from these terrorists.

    He was the real honest man. Unfortunately he is No More among us .... Where is the Insaaf...He deserves Nishan e Haider / Shujaat for his stance. I wonder why high level Security was not provided to him.

    pehlay media kai samnay masoom loggon ka katal e aam kiya phir honest witness ko maar dala.
    what a police gurdi/jungle ka qanoon.
    aside from this event but somehow connected to it. a couple months ago i was talking to someone about the situation in karachi. the person was like' gali, maohalon aur sarkon per janwar zinda hain aur insaan maray jarahay hain'.
