Answer is 11.
All of the above!Posted 2 years ago on 22 Apr 2010 11:45 # -
when it comes to priority ,u have to go one by one .
can not take all of them along at the same time .
like we had forgotten BB murder .
it came on first priority after UN report release .
Aafia Siddiqui became past.
and came no1 in news bulletins as she was convicted .
now Sania Shoaib shadi seems like the most important issue of our nation.our media ,should prioritize what to show and what order ?
sania shoaib are definitely does not deserve first place in headlines .
Posted 2 years ago on 22 Apr 2010 12:35 # -
No way!
You have got a big government and large machinery. None of these issues could be put until tomorrow. What Raja Pervaiz would do until the constitution show down goes on?The answer from life experience is simple, life does not work sequentially, it is only concurrency, parallelism and multi-tasking that does the job.

i am not talking about priority in happenings , i am talking about priority in media coverage .
it should definitely be ordered in the right way.
let me clarify it in my thread name too.Posted 2 years ago on 22 Apr 2010 13:03 # -
Well, media should highlight all those issues that are national issues including Sania and Shoaib because some people are interested in them as much as the electricity issue. In fact, such news are relief and a break from a streak of problems.
Posted 2 years ago on 22 Apr 2010 13:10 # -
Please exclude Shoiab Sania issue as its not worth discussing...ppl are dying of hunger and no electricity nd these channels are competing each other by giving them unnecessary coverage in news? world must be laughing at us that this poor nation which is on top in the list of countries affected by bomb blasts,is so anxious to celeberate a couple's wedding! come on give us a break!!!
Posted 2 years ago on 22 Apr 2010 13:25 # -
@*RhyMe*
What are you talking about.
The American reporter interviewed a Taliban capture in Lahore jail and the lights went out. She put it correctly, w-t-f is going on in this country, she came out of the jail and on the streets there was a wedding baraat, people dancing on the street in darkness and chanting in music. The answer is both turmoil and party!Posted 2 years ago on 22 Apr 2010 13:30 # -
Media shouldn't focus on any one issue as thats not the rule nd law to run any medium...they should highlight all issues one by one like barackosama said...also it keeps a balance in news reporting nd ppl get to know nd talk about various issues...like Talat does...he doesnt stick to only one matter for weeks...
Posted 2 years ago on 22 Apr 2010 13:31 # -
very true .
i agree with RhyMe.
that was my whole point .
we should not give importance to non issues .
and if we do ,we should not stick to it too long .Posted 2 years ago on 23 Apr 2010 10:36 # -
Media should focus on "revolution" which Imran Khan wants to bring because this is the solution of all the problems we have...
Posted 2 years ago on 23 Apr 2010 10:38 # -
revolution need sacrify
Posted 2 years ago on 23 Apr 2010 10:48 # -
bhai Yahya ,
dont drag Imran in every thread for no reason.
i admit that Imran is a threat to MQM .
but still ,here we are not talking about Imran.@Beenai,
meray khayal mein media kay pass 2 choice hain:
media ko zamany kay saath chalna hay.
yah zamany ko media kay sath.
ab jo media ko revenue wise suit karay .
waise chalay ga .Posted 2 years ago on 23 Apr 2010 10:50 # -
@choosy
Ok yar jaisa app kehtay ho magar in sab mai sab say pehlay konsa issue raise karain yehi sawal aisa hai k is ka koi jawab samajh nahi ata tu mainay socha k kuch aisa raise kia jai issue k jo in saab issues ka aik jhatkay mai kaam tamaam karday....aur rahi baat revolution ki tu revolution ki batain tu abhi tak 2 logoon nay kin hain Imran Khan and Shebaz Sharif ab PMLN kis revolution ki baat kar rahi hai yeh bhi dekhna hoga....
Posted 2 years ago on 23 Apr 2010 10:54 # -
@Yahya bhai ,
meray khyaal mein media ki pripority wohi hogi .
jo hot topic ho.
jis se viewership barh jaye aur khub revenue milay.
iss liye media kabhi bhi ap ko apki matlub ki priority nahin day sakta .Posted 2 years ago on 23 Apr 2010 11:24 # -
@choosy
yeh saray hi topic barhay hot hain iska matlab media sab ko discuss karai kyun k in saab topics say media ki viewership barh sakti hai....
Media tu ajjkal barha busy chal raha zara socho jab in mai say bohat say masail haal hotay hain tub media kia karaiga...
Posted 2 years ago on 23 Apr 2010 11:28 # -
media ki dukan chalti rahay gi.
garma garam khabron ki dukan kabhi band nahin hoti.Posted 2 years ago on 23 Apr 2010 11:38 # -
@choosy
Bhai agar app dunya mai media ko check karo tu app ko pata lagay ga k dunya mai News channels k bajay Entertainment aur dramay ziada dekhay jatai hain aur movies ka bhi shouq bohat ziada hota hai magar Pakistan aik anookha mulk hai jahan news ziada dekhi jati hai...
Posted 2 years ago on 23 Apr 2010 11:40 # -
@Yahya bhai ,
isski aik strong wajah hay .
kay humaray Dramay bore aur ghissay pittay hotay hain.
jabkay humari news aur current affair shows grama garam ,chatpattay ,masalydar aur nayee tazaye hotay hain.Posted 2 years ago on 23 Apr 2010 11:44 # -
@barackosama
Still there is a difference,that reporter covered a small incident of wedding prolly wanted to show how "Shadiz" in Pakistan are held or even having power crises ppl were enjoyin their good moments...what i said was about how our channels turned a common issue of wedding into a national issue...i think u haven't followed the channels during this Shoiab-Sania wedding...all of them stressed on it to such an extent that they forgot or didnt find it important to give a little space to other crucial issues for many days...for example so many ppl felt that a renowned scholar Dr Isar Ahmed Death wasn't given that coverage like this couple got...was it fair?

The same media projected the lawyers'movement with such a glaringly exposure.They boosted exaggerated expectations of the public. Now the clouds of deception are clear. What remarkable changes is Chief Justic Chaudhary bringing? The end result shows that the media simply made the public fool.

--------------------------------------------------------
(5) Cover situation of education in Pakistan, in the rest of the UMMAH

This is destroying Pakistan, its local economy. It is gearing students for not taking interest in education, because their education is irrelevant to the business market.

(a) sell themselves
(b) talk subjectively
(c) don't represent the interests of common man of Pakistan or common man of the rest of the Muslim UMMAHPosted 2 years ago on 25 Apr 2010 19:21 # -
HK, I'm glad to see you back and in full form. And I agree with you in general and wholly agree with you on one point. The media should
"Bring up issues that affect common man Muslims at individual level, be it inside Pakistan or in the rest of the Muslim UMMAH."
West-dazzled though we are, it's still shocking how much of media coverage is devoted to their daily ugly doings and how little of that same coverage has space to spare for the Palestinians, for instance, or even for the plight of the Kashmiris.
Posted 2 years ago on 25 Apr 2010 19:49 # -
media in pakistan is obsessed of blackmailers and lafafa culture.
now adays shuaib sania wedding is top priority topic , even they have gone to bathromms of the hotel.
having camera in hands small people are abusing this facility.
another alarming topic is assumption of imaginary conflict in between parliament and judicery.
media wants to start this conflict and to do so they are asking leading questions from guests /analysts to comment IF supreme court declare new amendments illegal so what will happen.
this is wish of media now a days.
very very shameful to our electronic media.there must be some restrictions on media.
mader pider azad media will play havoc to our society.Posted 2 years ago on 26 Apr 2010 18:45 # -
Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,
@truepakistani: We already know the current situation.
This thread is about giving positive solutions. Why don't you focus on giving positive input to this community ?
If you can't, then we don't need you to tell us that which all of us are already aware of.
Posted 2 years ago on 26 Apr 2010 18:52 # -
some people are so narrow minded that they do not allow to listen solutions.
its better to point out such elements.
solutions are always very easy once minds are changed.
Posted 2 years ago on 26 Apr 2010 18:55 # -
media ko chahiye ky wohh aam admai kay maslon ko 80 % aur khas logon ko 20% coverage day .
Posted 2 years ago on 27 Apr 2010 9:56 # -
media is a bunch of revenue driven corporations who are trying to sell & maximize profits, they are not 'free social services' for people.
Posted 2 years ago on 27 Apr 2010 10:02 # -
yah very true .
media kabhi aik side pe jhukta hay kabhi dosri side pe .
kabhi awam ki side pe nahin jhukta .Posted 2 years ago on 27 Apr 2010 10:07 # -
Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,
@truepakistani: I see no solutions from you, thus far. You already have at least two posts on this thread.
Where are the solutions ?
Why don't you tell us how your 'mind changing' thing/solutions work ? What does it entail ?
Posted 2 years ago on 27 Apr 2010 10:08 # -
solution is that convert pakistan from security state to social welfare state.
99% evils will be eradicated once for all.
hunger, poverty, lust , unemploymeny, illitracy, inflations, foreign loans, corruption, commissions, terrorism, fundamentalism, extremism, mullaism, all evils will be finished.
and
we will find true pakistan as our nation father wants to be.Posted 2 years ago on 27 Apr 2010 10:12 # -
