PTI’s Quetta public meeting postponed

    According to sources, The Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf’s (PTI) public meeting scheduled for Quetta on Pakistan Day has been postponed on resistance from nationalist parties in Balochistan.

    Now the PTI’s public meeting will be held in April. The exact date of the public rally will be announced later.

    Imran Khan during his public meeting in Karachi on December 25, 2011 had announced to hold a public meeting in Quetta on March 23.

    In Karachi, he was able to get MQM support as both have esablishment's support but in Quetta, its a different story and most of Baloch nationalists consider him establishment's stooge

    even we consider him establishment stooge. he is in process of begging balochistan politicians for their support ofr the rally. I wonder if revolutions come by begging.

    They (Baloch leaders) also reportedly told Imran that he was one of the few political leaders that the nationalist leaders are still willing to talk to.

    "Mengal, Marri and other leaders conveyed to Imran that ... the PTI chairman was amongst those leaders where the trust deficit was at a minimum," the source added.

    سیاہ ماتمی لباس پہن کر، دریاں بچھائے شام غریباں مناتے لوٹیاں والی سرکار کے انقلابی کیسے جلسے دے سکتے تھے؟ یہ تو ممکن ہی نہ تھا. آخر رسم دنیا بھی کوئی چیز ہے. ویسے بھی یتیم انقلابی سخت نڈھال ہیں اور سوگ کی حالت میں ہیں

    ایک طرف جنرل پاشا کی جدائی کا غم (یہ کوئی چھوٹا موٹا غم تھوڑی ہے - غم کا ایک پہاڑ ہے جو ممی ڈیڈی انقلابیوں کے سر پر ان گرا ہے) اور دوسری طرف دن بدن بڑھتی ہوئی گرمی - ایسے میں کس کو جلسے جلوس اور ریلیاں سوجھتی ہیں؟

    جب ریلیاں کا انتظام کرنے والے ہی نہ رہے تو کہاں کی ریلیاں اور کیسے جلسے؟

    اب پاشا نہیں رہا تو کون جلسوں میں بندے بھیجے گا؟ کون جلسوں کی رونق بڑھائے گا؟ کون بغیر کوئی سیٹ جیتے اور بغیر انتخاب میں حصہ لئے وزیر اعظم بننے کے خواب دکھائے گا؟

    بچھڑا کچھ اس ادا سے کہ رُت ہی بدل گئی
    اک شخص سارے لوٹوں کو پریشان کر گیا

    ABout a month or so ago there was Balochistan issue everywehre.

    Harbyar Mari and Bramdagh were invited in every other political talk show but now they have suddenly disappeared like gadhay kay surr se seeng...
    Pindi walay were unhappy about seeing thse leaders on TV all the time and the same pindi walay expressed their concern regarding criticism of intel agencies and army in talk shows. So should we expect media to stop its criticism on establishment?

    I expect Hamadd Mir to stop his missing persons case shows and anti-establishment shows very soon.
