AZADI RALLY Rally turns into LONG MARCH. THOUSANDS of people came out on roads against corrupt and AMERICAN SLAVES government. Imran Khan (official) ANNOUNCED SIT IN AT PESHAWAR to cut down NATO supply line on 22 to 24 April if government fails to stop drone attack. Imran Khan said youth is MY TEAM who is neat and clean. Imran Khan was waving the PAKISTANI FLAG on the Stage.
    Pakistan Zindabad!

So you mean after this azadi rally Imran has conquered Takhte Lahore?

Are both Sharif and Zardari considering retirement from politics?

have they given up in front of Imran Khan?

Has Takhte Lahore gone to Imran?

It all sounds over-optimism and I am not sure how you guys are taking all this. Imran boycotted elections last time only to let down his followers and God knows what will he do this time.

Let's see if we can have an Arab-style Inqilab as well in our country which I see as an opportunity to wake up public. At the moment chances are slim for such an Inqilab. Imran should work on that plan to mobilize public for an Arab-like Inqilab. Otherwise our current political and elctoral system will not allow any optimistic leader to grow.

Hahahahahaha...boy,the fan club posters can be so misleading sometimes.....Long March, million folks gathering etc. etc., lol....from the looks of it, there not more than 3,000 people, tops, I'm also counting the people peeking at these morons from their houses and businesses.

Judging by the propaganda of the Insaf brigade, I guess the only thing left now is for Taliban Khan to march straight into the President House and take oath of PM from Zardari ;)

OK PTI can do a large rallies, so what does it mean they can win elections because JI can also do big rallies but they vote bank has not increased.

In the next drone attack i expect PTI to put they money where they mouth is and block the logistics of the Yanks from going through Pakistan.

    what a huge crowd....wowwww!

    good srategy too
    - make people sit on chairs....
    - with huge gaps in between....
    - make them sit in a narrow long line alongroad side rather than a big ground....
    - than take the pictures with approx 45 degree angles

so it was around 3000-4000 people (30/40 people per row x 100 rows), with most of them travelling from far off places.... not sure if enough to ensure safety of 'zamanat'?

but still a huge crowd...when compared to last episode in islamabad!!

yes that is correct but I was also talking in general. The question is priorities and focus.

Islami nizaam, drones, zardari nawazu and anti-amreeka is immu's main focus and all else is secondary.

In my opinion awami empowerment, economy and nawazu-zardari should be the main focus and the rest secondary.

Imran is being considered by many as an alternative. I had a chat with some people back home and they too said that many people are considering him as an alternative.

His party will reduce PML-N's vote bank, but some how I feel that the army establishment is not fully convinced about Imran Khan. They like his anti ppp and pml-n stance , but fear his accountability stance.

His party still isn't as organized as one would like to see, but he is certainly worth a try. Good luck to him, hope this dumb nation gives him a chance.

P.S he needs to speak punjabi more fluently if he wants to gain more ground in Punjab.

I agree, N-League is hurt the most because PTI naturally attaracts N-League vote bank and ANP's also. PTI most likely wont beat N-League and will atleast enable PPP and Q-League to give N-League a tough fight. N-League is still almighty in Central Punjab and it will take some effort to bring 'em down.

PPP is an non-issue. They will be wiped out from Punjab just as they were wiped out in 1997.

No benefit will go to PPP. This is a trick by PMLN to propagate such things in order to scare the people to not vote for alternatives but keep voting for corrupt N-league.

There will be a big change in the election.

He doesn't need a green signal from the establishment. When he will, he will be the same as NS, Zardari, etc.

The only power that can change this country is the power of the people. Compromising with establishment will put on in the category of Nawas and Zardari.

  35. Oh meray PTI ke bhaaio

Main yeh baar baar keh raha hoon keh rallion aur jalsoon se pakistan main kuch nahin hoota. Agar aap me kuch itni umer ke hoon jin ko shaukat-e-islam rally yaad ho jo JI ne 1971 ke election se pehle nikali thi and man that was impressive. Lekan election waale din kia hua, JI ke tenton main Ulloo bool rahe thay.

PTI ko jalse jalooson ki bijaaie apni tanzeem sazi per twajah deni chahiye aur umeed waron ka abhi se intikhaab aur elaan karna chihiye. PTI ko initiative lena chahiye aur apne agendey ko baaqi jmaatoon per force kar dena chahiye.

Imran Khan ko Bajaaie Zardari, Gilani, Shareef bros par zaati hamlon ke , policies par baat karni chahiye, Imran ko apni alternative policies awaam main paish karni chahiye aur apni policion ko awaam main explain karna chahiye. Imran ko economy ki baat karni chahiye aur revenue generation, wealth creation, fiscal policy, education aur health policies ki baat karni chahiye.

Zardari aur sharifoon ke foreign bank accounts aur assets ki baat karne se aam aadmi ko kuch saroo kar nahin hain, woh tu yeh jaan'na chahta hai keh usko aur uske baitay ko roozgaar kahan se mile ga, woh yeh jaan'na chahta hai keh uslo sasti dwaai kaha se mile gi

Imran ko police aur patwaar ke nizaam ko tabdeel karne keliye apna mansooba loogon ke saamne paish karna chahiye. Imran ko khaas taur par in doo mehkamoon ko kaise theek kia jaa sakta hai aur iqtidaar main aa kar kitne maheenon main in main tabdeeli laaie ga ki baat karni chahiye

Agar Imran and PTI in cheezon ki baat karen gein tu aam aadmi waqiee main election waale din Imran ke saath hooga warna jalse main tu Imran ke jaaie ga lekan vote PPP aur PLMN ko he de ga

Aur election ke agle din aap sab hairaan hoo rahe hoonge keh hmaare saath kia hua aur dhandli ka shoor machaaen gein.

Only if someone from PTI seriously look into what I have said.

    @bsobaid,

Siraiki card will not work due to abysmal performance of this government led by a Siraiki.

Anyway, people have realized that PPP and PMLN are one and the same thing. And the credit GOES TO IMRAN KHAN.

PMLN was sitting quietly and aptly playing their cards, waiting for their next term, while enjoying power in Punjab, but Imran Khan has been progressively exposing them by going after them incessantly.

PMLN are wolves in sheep clothing, they are worse than Zardari in this respect.

A true leader is someone who can spot his and the nation's true enemies, and the biggest issue of today is NOT PPP's last two years, but the FIVE LONG YEARS that might go to PMLN after the next election.

Do you get my point? It shows great vision of Imran Khan to go after PMLN.

Your criticism has some valid points, and I have heard from Imran Khan that soon PTI is going to publish policy statements on every major issue concerning Pakistan.

However, how can you say that the common man will go to Imran Khan's jalsa, but vote for PMLN/PPP?

Are you saying PMLN/PPP policies are great? That these parties talk about issues?

As of present, PTI is a far better option than these parties.

Why would a common man chose N-league and PPP who have a track record failure and abysmal performance.

    Meray Bhaai

Bhutto ka zikr main ne jaan boojh kar chhor diya tha keh samajhne wale khud hi samjh jaaien gein. Yehi tu mera point tha keh loag Rally main tu JI ki thay lekan doosre din vote Bhutto ko daal aaie kyunkeh Bhutto ne roti kapre aur makaan ki baat ki thi.

Kaun kehta hai keh PPP/PMLN ki policies theek hain, lekan masala yeh hai keh loag apne police aur patwar ke masaloon ke hal keliye in loogon ki taraf hi dekhtay hain. Agar loogon ko yeh yaqeen dilwaya jaaie keh PTI is zulm ke bane hue police aur patwar ke nizaam ko mukamml badal de gi aur uska aik khaaka bhi loogon ke saamne paish karti hai tu phir hi loag uski taraf mutwajjah hoonge.

Yeh yaad rakhen keh shehron main sirf 30% abaadi hai aur majority loag dihaaton main rehtay hain aur police aur patwaar unka masala hoota hai na keh Raymond Devis ya zardari aur shareefon ke foreign bank account.

You have a valid point that PTI should concentrate on the villages, and something which underscores this fact is that in NA 160, PTI lost due to rigging which largely took place in the country side.

My point is that PTI is a grassroots party which runs on donations from volunteers, which does not ally with local zameedars and wadeeras. They are doing exactly what you are stating, there is a lot of work going on which is not covered on media not even on internet, however, it takes time if you don't use underhanded means. In many jalsas in country side, Imran specially emphasized the issues of police and patwari.

I hope PTI policy paper comes soon and it will clear a lot of doubts.
