    I have few questions for Imran khan fans.

    1. How much income tax Imran Khan paid for the year 2011?
    2. What is his source of income?
    3. In 2011 how much income he earned in Pakistan?
    4. In 2011 how much income he earned in abroad?

    Hi "new" member ;) Watch Khari Baat from yesterday. Imran said he will show all his assets docs and tax receipts on national tv in the coming days.

    Why in the "coming" days?

    Does he not know how much income he earned and how much in taxes he paid?

    @Adonis

    Relax, and wait! Don't expect to get immediate attention all the time just like spoiled kids . Nooners will feel the heat with full force when he declares his assets everything with transparency and with documentation - very soon, inshallah!

    @PP
    Btw. I don't know about you but for me the year 2011 has not finished yet and you are talking about the income of this year ;)

    And also accounts of funds that he has collected over the years in fundraisers, charity galas in the name of Tehreek-e-Insaaf both within and outside Pakistan

    ^ No sweat pal. Anything since inception till 2010 would suffice for now.

    @Scand,

    So you are trying to imply that he has not honestly declared everything till date?

    @scandinavian ...why is it an afterthought .. more of a reaction rather then proactively surredering these docs...and then start demanding others and taking the high moral ground

    why are these being prepared..why such delay...these papers should already be with him...this delay suggests either these are being manufactured or forged....morally he should have first declared all his assets then thrown the 1st stone ... anamoly, n a contradiction isnt it... from the moral brigade

    Lol, just watch how Ilzam Khan would come on live TV and wave his assets on simple A4 size papers and the contents typed on MS Word.

    additionally he needs to explain his position ... as to how he so confidently mentioned HH name in his Oct 30th speech... it is a catch 22 situation...if he was tipped off by ISI ... or he just put 2 n 2 together which is worse ... he considers himself a leader of national stature yet he was doing guesswork and conjecture ...he was not 1005 sure yet he decided to accuse someone...even the 2nd tier anchors were not naming HH because no one was 100 % sure ... ilzamm beghair tehteeq kay agay barha dayna ... is a sign of dishonety from the "revolutionary honest IK"

    ^^ Easy folks, learn to be patient. Nooners have already jumped the gun in several cases. Don't get impatient again just because you are feeling the heat. Don't ask questions of others (PTI). Do also become clean yourself. Let's see what IK does and hopefully your leadership will follow suit - otherwise they will be marginalized - even more than they are now. If they don't react then they will be discarded totally, inshallah!

    The financial year 2011 finished on June 30. Its been five months and still we are told to wait for "coming" days.

    People are still waiting for two years for the case that Ilzam Khan was going to register against MQM. I hope this does not prove to be a similar promise.

    I think Nooner is a derogatory term which should not be used...i personally dont belong to PML(n)...i have also supported IK on his memeorable Oct 30 public meeting on this forum...have also had soft corner for the much maligned PPP...and I endorse Mian Nawaz Sharifs anti establishment position at present

    The questions raised above are valid questions which IK should answer, if he wants himself to be considered any different from the rest

    According to my calender, year 2011 is not done yet (as Scandi pointed out earlier as well; we happened to have a similar calander, Scandi...it must be ISI sazish). So Q1,Q3 and Q4 are done and dealt with.

    Seems like there is no dearth of morons among ILZAMIs.

    Tax year 2011 ended on June 30, 2011, almost five months ago.

    But I guess one would have to be actually "taleem yafta" instead of merely "zer-i-taleem" to know that !!!!

    I am no expert in this, but it would be logical for me that the accounting year for 2010 ends in 2010 in the sense that all declarations must be made by end of June for 2010.

    As mentioned I am not an expert. Can a non-nooner please clarify how it should be understood?

    nooners can't understand such simple things

    they are here just for "rola bazi" ---- just like their leaders did in faisalabad jalsa --- they have neither the intention to understand anything nor the ability

    poor nooners -- when the "lion leader" N$ does not understand the difference between sales tax and income tax --- what do you expect from his blind followers??

    Hi guys!

    Declaration of assets is a very serious matter. Accusations counter accusations won't do any good.

    For siddiq73: Have you ever seen income tax return in your life? I'm sure not.

    For outspokenloud: In reply to my first question: how much income tax Imran Khan paid for the year 2011? you say "for 2011 the income tax will be paid in 2012." This is incorrect. You have to discharge you income tax liability, if any, the day you file your income tax return.

    In reply to my 2nd question: what is his source of income? you say lectures, commentary, consultancy & analyst fees, he is also a Vice-Chancelor of Bredford University

    Can you tell me when did IK last time do cricket commentary, delivered lecture? Consultancy and analyst fee for what? You say IK is also a Vice-Chancelor of Bredford University. He is Chancellor not VC. Does he draw any salary from the University of Bradford?

    My 3rd question was: In 2011 how much income he earned in Pakistan? You say it will be declared in june 2012. Again this is incorrect. as I mentioned above, one has to discharge his/her income tax liability, if any, the day he/she files income tax return.

    In reply to my 4th question: In 2011 how much income he earned abroad? you say there is no declaration required & no tax imposed on income earned abroad by the law in Pakistan. Again incorrect. There is 1% Tax on Services rendered/contracts executed outside Pakistan.

    Please come prepared next time!

    Following is the link which lists PTI leadership's contact information. You can contact them for the desired information, if you are in a hurry. Most of us are willing to wait besides IK has never been in the government hence his tax returns are not a major issue.

    http://www.insaf.pk/ContactUs/Leadership/tabid/143/Default.aspx

    Again incorrect. There is 1% Tax on Services rendered/contracts executed outside Pakistan.

    It surely needs to be looked into but remittance has no Income Tax in Pakistan.

    "I have few questions for Imran khan fans."

    Well splendid questions but very limited in scope; in the spirit of inclusiveness, I suggest you address Altaf Hussain fans, Zaradari-Gillani fans, Sharif brothers' fans, Chaudary Brothers' fans and Fazaul Rehan fans in you question, of course along with Imran Khan fans.

    Perhaps you could also include the following questions in your list;

    1. How much property do you own abroad?

    2. How much money do you have in foreign accounts (especially Swiss)?

    3. Can you tell the difference between sales tax and income tax?

    Sounds fair I think. Well lets have it then.

    stingingnettle...............just try to think beyond the term "fans"............for me its not of matter to be a fan or not..........just to see what is good of Pakistan..........

    If a good system is there then nobody can do wrongs, and that's waht Imran's message is..........just come and JOIN Imran for the sake of Pakistan.

    You mustn't have read anything I have written on this forum.

    Never mind.

    The question of financial integrity should be asked of everyone not just of Imran Khan. That is the point I am trying to make. Good institutions are a result of openness and accountability.

    Yeah, the thread will be more significant if all party leaders are asked to answer these questions, including those inserted later by StingingNettle......

    It should be concern of all Pakistanis and not just fans of a political party, as Raheb correctly pointed out.

    If I accuse someone of acquiring assets through illegal means or concealing them, the person I accuse has every right of questioning how did I acquire my assets or if I'm concealing them.

    IK says he will join opposition if PML-N leadership declares its assets in Pakistan and abroad. This is his one point agenda. Imran Ismail of PTI claimed on a tv channel that "there is no person in Pakistan who is more honest than IK."

    Merely making big claims doesn't prove anyone honest. People will ask questions. You people should be open to questions.

    @Paki_politiks......your point is very valid and merits consideration, all leaders without any exception should declare theirs and their family's assets, source of income, nationality, property at home and abroad, tax returns....

    Claims submitted by leaders should be vetted by a highly judicious, unbiased and competent committee....
