    An analysis of the reported blasphemy cases in Pakistan since 1986 (the year when this controversial law (295-C) was made part of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) by General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, who was the sixth President of Pakistan from July 1977 to his death in August 1988), reveals that the majority of these cases occurred in a few districts in central Punjab.

    ...

    According to Rizwan Paul, Executive Director of LFA, “Around 80 per cent of all these cases have been registered in only eight districts of central Punjab — Lahore, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Gujrat and Kasur”.

    Salam,

    Its interesting that you always attack an author's personality/ethnic group/race/gender/religion and almost always ignore the "content" of his/her post..

    ;)

  4. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

    @yahya: You have started 5+ threads to "give" "voice" to unjust non-Muslims within "our ranks" (i.e., Muslims). You are "giving" non-Muslim foreigners the "opportunity" to "interfere" in "internal" affairs of Muslims.

    In essence, you are "exhibiting" signs of "aligning" yourself with non-Muslim foreigners, with interests of non-Muslim foreigners, which is "in contrast to" interests of local people.

    The evidence of you;

    (1) "giving" "voice" to the enemy within our ranks
    (2) "choosing" to look at things from the point of view of unjust foreigners
    (3) identifying with our enemy against the interests as well as well-being of Muslims (taking side of the enemy)
    (4) blatantly disregarding the interests, well-being of Muslims
    (5) blatantly miss-representing interests, well-being of Muslims

    is increasing. It is a troubling development. I fear of your "consistent" "march" in the "wrong" direction.

    Minorities have to and must follow majority thinkings/opinions/faith etc..Unless and untill minorities would not accept this rule of thumb they would be dying on the roads through majority of the country.....

    What is different about people from Lahore, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Gujrat and Kasur? These are areas with strong sufi influence historically. Are these people feeling themselves as guardians of the faith and hence needing to react at everyone and everything?

    "Minorities have to and must follow majority thinkings/opinions/faith etc.."

    Tell that to Muslims in Indian and never complain if they are butchered for not respecting cows for instance. Also no mosque at ground zero then. Just two examples although list could be very long from all over world.
