Every time there's a suicide attack or a brazen assault in Pakistan, Pashtuns in the vicinity of targeted area become prime suspects.

Police arrests them and their pictures flash live on TV Screens, and we never hear anything afterwards. Our police treats them in the most inhumane way (stripping, kicking, etc). They look absolutely terrified with a mob of police surrounding them!

Let's not forget that there's a considerable number of Pashtuns living in Punjab and Karachi. They must be treated like any other ordinary citizen.

Don't you think police is unfair in targeting them based on their looks?

perception is stronger than the reality!

waisay I wouldn't criticize the fact that they only keep an exceptional eye on pashtuns, because, whether we like it or not but the fact is that at least 90% of those who are carrying out these attacks are from tribal areas and nwfp.
so its up to you now, either you show your mumta to them (that is if you are nawaz, shehbaaz, imran, munawar hassan chela group)

or you interrogate all those potential suspects who are found near the crime scene

Having said that, I think its actually what comes next (once these suspects have been caught ) that is barbaric and inhumane and is a typical behavior of punjab police with all its suspects i.e from a jota chori suspect to a mass murderer!!

So i think instead of seeing it through a racial angel we should try to see it from a human angel and should therefore criticize the general jaahilana attitude of punjab police towards thw suspects, be it pashtoons or punjabis.

Two suspects in Lahore blast released

LAHORE: The tow suspected men taken in custody in the wake of Lahore bomb blast have been released, the sources said Wednesday.

The sources told the suspects—Aurangzeb and Ramazan were arrested from the blast site—were released after the preliminary interrogation.

It would have been perfectly all right to take them in to custody for interrogation just on the basis of their looks and features (& even if they weren't the real culprits) had they not been mauled like dogs by the police ..that is what i am saying

See the fact that we saw them getting treated so badly by the police is actually what is making this whole process look much uglier than it is!!

just take the beating out and there's not much that we can argue about ..can we?

Our Evolution :

Aadam ki Aulaad evolved into Mulim , hindu, christians, etc than became Indian and Pakistani further evolving into sunni, shia than into 100 other religious sects, and as if that was not enough we evolved into muhajirs, pashtuns, punjabi, sindhi and balochis.

what is next?

I dont know but my imagination takes this race down the division path when each individual will have a country of its own, and brotheres and sisters, father and son,etc will each have there own country. Population: ONE. Population two are too many.

What a sad day that would be!!!

look at why this racial profiling comes.

and then find ways to stop it.

just complaining will not work.

Get the aaazaaab Taliban out of Pakistanis and Pukhtoons will be happier than ever.

There are significant numbers of Punjabis, Urdu speakers and foreign people among Talibaan but Pukhtoons are the main group. Long Live Pakistan Army and Pakistani Nation for creating Taliban, training them againts Russians, providing them with arms and ammunation in the name of JIHAD and then disowning them after 9/11 to save their **** and now conducting an operation against them without thinking of the collateral damage.. (Oh! Sorry forgot they are pakhtoons as well! Hmmmmmm who cares..... as long as we are getting $$$ wuffff wuffff!)

Problem Muhajir ka nahee hay balkay MQM ka hay!
We need to differntiate kay HUR muhajir MQM nahee hay!
Problem yeah hay kay MQM nay Karachi pay qabza keeya howa hay aur aik common Muhajir sirf "Amman" chajta hay aur basically Muhajir Danday bandooq walee qouam nahee hay.. Iss leeye jub MQM nay iss Generation ko AK47 pakra deeye tou they basically **** 2/3 generation of Muhajirs.

Also we need to understand one thing that all these Pushtun IDP's..where ever they go..... they will not going to ask for money from Muhajir or any other community. You have to give that to Pushtuns that they will do "Mazdoori" etc but wont be begging in the streets of karachi, Infact 90% of beggers come from either Punjab (gujrat,Potohar mainly) or interior Sindh! You will occassionaly see a Pukhtoon or Baluch Begger and usually that would be an old man!

Even people supporting MQM know that very well that the reason MQM is supporting the operation is not because they actually hate the concept of operation but merely the fact that they need an issue to get rid of Pukhtoons from karachi (Wishful thinking!) so the only ethnic group who can physically stop their "Badmashee" in karachi are disposed out of sindh.

I have personally lot of Muhajir friends and even those who have or still working (due to threats) for MQM. These are all doctors who hates Altaf and his tolla but too scared to say or oppose them. Some of them are too scared to even visit karachi due to fear of their lives.. Now who would like to oppose this party whose own members not only fear the high command but hate and curse them every day!

As regards to operation in karachi... I have lived through that operation in karachi and you may not like it but I know the fact from A to Zee and what happened in 80'S So won't go there as its not gonna achieve any thing.

Lagta hay ALLAH MIAN Punjabi hain (Naouzbillah) jub hee inn ko Govt may aur rwsources may sub say zayada hissa deeya hay! Khair yeah tou aik bakwaas baat theee lakin, Muhajir should not help IDP's just because there was an operation conducted against them or MQM has asked its supporter to help the IDP's !!!! Instead they should help because if you have not forgotten these IDP's are Muslims and Pakistani too!

Remember, agar dajla kay kinaray aik kutta bhee bhooka soe jatta tou UMAR PBUH koo neend nahee atee thee .. yahan tou hum over 3 million inssanoun kee baat kur rahain hain!
