This is very sad incidence. Whatever was the situation, it was not the way to deal with a captured person. The people involved in this cold blood murder must be given the maximum punishment. This lawlessness needs urgent and strenuous action.
These dogs thriving on public expense are supposed to protect the citizens and not to eliminate them. This has become a routine for our sentinel forces to take law in their hands.

The person was a boy who studies in Matric, age 17 years. Rangers killed him near boat basin clifton karachi. The boy was passing by the rangers and must have been something happened between them. Rangers opened fire on him , killed him on the spot. Safraz Shah was the brother of a TV Channel reporter.

    "Safraz Shah"

Atleast killing of a shah might open someones' brain cells. If it doesnt then nothing will !

ps. Now imagine thousands if not millions of videos that could be made available but are not made available;what they would reveal?

ps1.Same reproters chose to either not sneak into that area or keep silent even after knowing it.But then sometimes their own videos would appear just like that poor guy.

no one is held accountable with this gov't. And nothing is about to change because unfortunately they have are in bed with the army.

A long march is needed to Islamabad. All the unemployed people should just go and sit their until Gilani is impeached and Zardari agrees to get the f out of Pakistan.

This is the only solution to bring Karachi back under state’s control. Rangers should be given unlimited authority of shoot and kill on the spot all of the target killers, bhuta khors and dacoits etc regadless of their political affiliations and influence. Currently, they are NOT allowed to react by Rehman Malik even if they are fired upon by anyone in Karachi. That is why they are openly beaten and slapped by the armed political budmashs and ghundaz of different parties in Karachi and they could do nothing.

Since i am under permanent moderation..I am responding to the sick comments on the main page.

    @sajjadbutt & Exposed

    Shameless !!!!

How would you feel if this were your brother ?

Would you still prescribe this option to fix Karachi?

Do you have any proof of Rangers getting beat up or just blowing hot air from back end? Are you talking about PNS Mehran? When 4 terrorists kicked **** of over 2000 military and rangers

@ ExPosed! Rangers and Police were unarmed and confined to their baricks by Sindh Govt Advisor on Interior, Waseem Akhtar on 12-May and Karachi was totally handed over to the armed terrorists of MQM to sabotage CJ’s reception and rally. Babar Ghauri was Shipping Minister then and he issued empty containers from the seaport for road blocking all over Karachi. Only MQM was responsible for killing of 50 people on 12-May as they accepted Gen. Musharaf’s task of sabotaging CJ’s visit to KHI and we all know well about it. Waseem Akhtar was commanding and monitoring all that operation as head of terrorists in jeans and T-shirt.

  14. This is what happened in Quetta too. Killing of its own citizen.. Thats what these spineless rangers and soldiers are good at…

Nothing will happen and these rangers will be suspended for brief period or perhaps few months of being imprisoned. When you have an eunuch as your chief of army then you could imagine what will happen to the rest of the lot.

It’s time that these **** are also killed by the mob just like the dacoits killed and in some cases burned in karachi.

  18. I don’t see any pistol as reported by this newspaper:

Five men from the Ghazi wing of the Rangers are said to be involved in the incident, of whom two have been arrested.
Video footage of the incident showed the Rangers killing the man, Sarfaraz Shah, who had a pistol in his hand, after beating him up.
Before being shot, Shah had tried to grab the security forces’ weapons.
Initially, the police and Rangers had claimed that they were informed that a dacoit had held a family hostage in Benazir Bhutto Park. The security personnel claimed that they went inside the park and asked the man to surrender. When he refused to do so, the Rangers shot at him in retaliation. Shah was injured and died after reaching Jinnah Hospital, security personnel said.
Shah was the brother of Salik Shah, a reporter of Samaa TV. The family of the deceased along with journalists held a protest at the chief minister’s house in Karachi. The chief minister has taken notice of the incident.
The Sindh information minister, Sharjeel Memon has said that no leniency will be shown to the culprits.

They aren't brave naujawan rangers. They should be held accountable for what they did and should be shot in their knee caps and left on the ground for a good 30 minutes.

Something is very seriously noteworthy in this incident! After the tragic incident of Karotabad, another incident of illegal killing by security forces has been recorded. The thing which has to be taken into a serious account is the physiological health of the soldiers of security forces. Are they not losing physiological balance due to unbearable tensions on their heads?

Similar behavior was recored of the American soldiers coming back to America from Iraq and Afghanistan.

All our institutions are still colonial style. The British established them to rule over the local people with mercilessness. These agencies don't regard us as the people of their own but the slaves of their British masters. They are simply the mental slaves of the British Raj despite the passage of 63 years time after independence.

I don't care what his ethnicity was; he was still human and had every right to be tried in court if he was accountable for any misdeed. For there 'bravery' at Mehran base , they received 11% increase in their funding; probably with this incident, as I am sure they will come out with an ISPR-concocted story, will receive another 11%. Great performance, I'd say!

All the British Raj institutions are burdensome on the country. More than 99 percent army, civil service and judiciary is absolutely useless. The incidents of Abbotabad and PNS Mehran have vividly exposed the efficiency levels of our security forces. They are capable of crushing their own people only.

You are truly right, civil services alone is a very inefficient institution takes away a big chunk of our budget; 65+% along with military with 25+% and now with an increase of 11%. There is a need to reign these white elephants. They are filled with incompetent and corrupt people. As for the judiciary, it is not completely blind, it has still an eye for corruption and self interest; someone has to throw a stone to make it completely blind. Then and only then justice will be served without biases.

    RQ Bhai,

Judiciary is no different. Justice is sold in the so called courts of law. You can see hundreds of serial killers moving comfortable in the corridors of the court buildings. What they simply have to do is to pay enormous sums of money to judges through their agents called advocates. Justice is for sale in the courts of law. The credibility of our CJ was vividly exposed in Raymond Davis's case.

Youth shot dead by rangers was involved in crime: Malik

The Interior Minister added that both sides of the incident would be taken into consideration during the investigation because the murdered youth was involved in criminal activities and was part of a gang of eight criminals.

He told the media that the youth tried to snatch the belongings of a female and the public along with the guard of the park caught him and handed him over to the Rangers.

    http://www.geo.tv/6-9-2011/82282.htm

It's because of people like RM that this country cannot get a grip on the law and order situation, head of interior ministry who is a suspected criminal, so will it be fair to say that any security personnel should pick up a gun and blow him away because he is a suspected criminal, or should he be allowed to defend himself in the SC like he has been doing. What an irrelevant and nonsensical statement from this retard.

These officers have no problem killing the people they are supposed to protect. But if this is an Amrikan citizen or a gora chamri they would be on their knees.

Any person you see on the street does'nt appear to be a normal person. We all have become nafsiyaati mareez. Too much violence and feeling of helplessness makes one a nafsiyaati for sure.

These rangers murdered should be dealt with according to law ASAP!! but hold on..CJ is busy hearing Atiqa Odho 2 bottles of liquor case.

    I dont understand why:

    1) They shot the guy
    2) They let him bleed to death
    3) They let the other guy record the event

As I said, our awam and specially security forces have become nafsiyaati.

Bayghairat Rehman Malik ko Karachi kay samandar mein phaink doo.

This event is no different than Kahrootabad event and Sialkot event. If no one channelized awami nafsiaati beemari and desperation I fear for a Rawanda style blood bath.

I did'nt watch the video but read somewhere that the victim was trying to snatch Rangers gun. IF this is true then Rangers have to follow the procedure and they shot him at his leg. what I still dont understand is why they did not take him to the hospital and let the other guy video tape it.

They might not have taken him to hospital to save themselves from inquiry and they could have later called this whole event as police encounter, however why they still allowed video taping it? May be video maker was their man but later on somehow the tape got released.

Rehman Malik is not the issue here. He is corrupt and his only intention is save Zardari and himself for as long as he can. He will choo mantar from Pakistan on the last day of this govt. And we will never hear his name again.

However, the military and rangers will stay here.

He doesn't want and probably does not have the capacity to take on the mighty Military and Rangers.
So he is being a being a good butt man for DG Rangers.

His tenure as Interior Minister is full of incidents..where he should have resigned a long time ago.
