Possible because GCC is not happy of any development in the field of fossil fuels if it takes place in non Arab countries right across the Gulf.
After all they remain still sold out to the west because of long term agreements tied to oil exploration that was never free.

Thank God Pakistan is not the same as it was during Zia, but still not much better. During Zia, pants were being dropped for mullahs and arabs along with americans.
If Pakistan continues to beg for American handouts because of a zero economy, it will have to agree to their wishes.
