These are two front page stories :

Public funds used for Sharif rally in DG Khan

Ostentatious display: Gilgit-Baltistan spent Rs20m on PM’s visit

Recently, GEO did a nice piece on Gilani's motorcade in Karachi.

Does it make any difference? In other societies, any news like this would be considered a big scandal, people would lose their jobs, their political careers doomed. However, in Pakistan, nothing changes.

Can media anything more? Instead of **** fights in tv programs, can they discuss these issues and inform the public with facts. However, media jumps from one sensation to next without really following up on anything.

o bro Media is equally corrupt like any other institution of Pakistan(except for few ofcourse)...this is what happens when you have incapable ppl on top...the influence is then seen everywhere from top to bottom....from Railway to Media! and PIA to PCB...
