Sanctifying Terrorists

Lord Malloch-Brown a minister of the British government has delivered his verdict. The Bajrang Dal and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) of India are not terrorist organizations and are therefore ‘kosher’ for travel and interaction in Britain. Their inhuman anti Christian and anti Muslim activities are well documented and well known.

Perhaps it was fear that drove Lord Brown to give his governments’ decision---fear of the Hindu Sawayamsevak Sangh (HSS) that has 70 branches across Britain and is closely linked to the RSS and the Bajrang Dal. HSS is working covertly under cover of community work to establish its presence and support in Britain. Support that it will give it the clout to leverage its demands and create communal chaos in Britain’s overstretched social fabric. Lord Brown has given them the clearance they needed.

Chris Pattens’ valid arguments were ignored. Lord Brown has not seen the videos of Christians being burnt alive in India and nuns being raped by war painted crazed Hindu fanatics. He thinks Gujerat is too far off for the cries of Muslim women and children being butchered to be heard. He does not know that these murderers are now in Kashmir to bring a new level of violence there. He has not seen the video of Babu Bajrang of Bajrang Dal boasting about his personal pleasure in killing Muslims particulary Muslim women and children. For Lord Brown terrorists are only Muslims.

Lord Brown and his government have forgotten that there are Muslims in Britain. They are British born and bred but they are Muslims. And to have the killers of Muslims publicly endorsed as ‘not terrorists’ sends a very clear message to them.

Britain has rightly prided itself on justice and fair play. Its immigration and integration policies have worked well. It has enormous experience of fighting terror. Its justice and law enforcing systems are excellent. It maintains good relations with the Islamic world. Why, then, would Lord Brown make a mockery of all that by publicly declaring that the purveyors of violence—the RSS and Bajrang Dal—are not terrorist organizations? He could have kept quiet or at least qualified his declaration with abhorrence for those who incite violence and kill in the name of religion. The BajrangDal and RSS and others of their ilk are the reason for terrorism.
