  1. I think some “liberal fascists” urf “2nd class Muslims” urf “Jahannmis” are needed to put some evenness. Please unban people like liberalkarachi and others to bring back the other flavors of new ideas.

does anyone know what right and left means... these days everyone likes to call themselves left...

None of the political parties in Pakistan are true Left. Just because they are liberal doesn't make them left.

  23. There are indications about official and unofficial attempts to make this forum as a platform to promote and maintain the Ideology of Taqleed.
But the flow of Tajdeed is so strong, powerful and overwhelming that no barricade, hurdle or emotional obstacle would succeed to block its passage.
Innovations, inventions and discoveries would continue to emerge in order to make human life more attractive.

No sermon is need to prove its presence, where the Sun is shinning brightly.

It really is useless to indulge in discussion which divides people into leftist and rightist.
Muhammed did not label people as leftist or rightist neither did caliphs.Even our very own leaders like Iqbal and Quaid e Azam did not use these terms.
We are Muslims and we need to put effrorts in becoming better Muslims.
We are Pakistani and we need to be better Pakistani.
Stop using western vocabulary and try using natural vocabulary:good or bad and right or wrong.
Why do we try to solve our problems using western vocabulary?
we have got to be original.Assumme had Late Nusrta Fateh A Khan used guitar, would he have been that popular?Originality leaves the influence not blind following to other's ideas.

  33. First of all I am as Left as can be :-P

Second, how can you assume just because we are more active that we are "rich"? Is that how "outsmarting" works?

"urrently Right is out-numbering Left on PkPolitics."
Wrong again. We so-called 'Right' are very few -- just more effective at exposing your "left" (and whooping it's bvtt) so you feel we are an "army" :-P

It's not just this forum right has out-numbered left on grounds in Pakistan thanks to US backed jihadi culture nurthred under Zia. PPP, MQM and ANP represents political left where as old MMA, PTI and all factions of Muslim League depicts political right. If you combine right vote it's probably 1.3 to 1.5 times of left.

US organized religious right to combat communism and is undoing that to fight muslim extremism.

"Left never preaches extremism and violence but Right does"

Oh, since when? Isn't the Left cheering on operation in Swat and FATA and Waziristan and cheering drone strikes and screaming "Nuke Taliban!"? Hasn't that left thousand's dead and tens of thousands wounded and made at least 3 MILLION IDPs? If that is not preaching extremism and violence, I don't know what is!

    Posted 2 years ago on 18 May 2010 16:46 #
  37. @nota

What would you do if someone attacks your house? No matter you are conservative or liberal person. Just tell us what you would do.
Local people in areas like Swat were suffering at the hands of talibans. That's why operation was needed.

Waziristan has become epicentre of jihadi culture and supply of suicide killers for the rest of the world especially Pakistan is suffering hugely. We told Americans that Pakistani Laws are not applicable in our tribal areas; Americans said well ok then we will bomb them. If we cannot control our own semi autonomous tribal areas then the world will and they are.

"epicentre"? Now that's a term borrowed right of the propaganda press!! :-P

Come on man; call spade a spade.

People left Swat due to fear of talibans and you are denying this fact.

What else should I used instead of epicentre? You tell me a word and I will replace my post with that word. Please don't tell me Waziristan is the most peaceful place on earth.

I don't think right has the monoply on political violence. Maoist rebels in India, Stalin's forced communism, MQM's drilling in human are just few examples of violence from the left. Violence by right is even more glaring as you said.

We can not defend political violence irrespective of its source.

to be precise by you get confidence by twisting my comments or for that matter anyone's comments.

Your "arguments" that you are so proud of starts and ends with parsing other's statements and injecting your meaningless, irrelavent, sarcastic one liners. If your faith had anything to do with your confidence we 'd have seen this cyber jihadi converted into real Jihadi.

Manchester United having highly Professional players of football from around the world..
Every one can observe that all the other club's players ,playing against MU will always be busy with Darmas on Ground against MU Players for Mistackling, fouls and thing like that..

Players of Manchester united never come up with such "techniques" against others CUZ they are highly professionals and they only believe on their professional Performance NOT other TACTICS....

The same situation is here from professional(MU/Right) and non-professionals(left)...

    Posted 2 years ago on 18 May 2010 18:03 #
  47. I highy object to the title of this thread. This is an other attempt to divide muslims on the line of western twisted view of the soceity and the political views and understanding of those views. In islam and muslim soceities there is no such thing as "Right" or "Left" of the political divide . If Islam says that punishment of stealing is to cut the hand (off course after meeting all the conditions and handed down by a competent and eligible authority)there could be no right or left opinions about that. If Islam says that punishment for murder is death then there is no left or right political opinion about it.

There is no such thing called conservative islam, liberal islam, secular islam, sufi islam, moderate islam.

    Islam is Islam.
