    Rehman Malik emerged as the deal broker in Benazir-Musharraf reconciliation talks in Abu Dhabi in July 2007, and replaced Makhdoom Amin Fahim as the most trusted political lieutenant of Benazir Bhutto. Fahim was Benazir's aide since 2002, when he formed the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians and acted as the leader of PPP in the absence of Benazir and her husband Asif Ali Zardari. It was also reported in The News that after Rehman Malik took over the role of top "adviser and broker" of Benazir on important matters ranging from politics to business, Fahim seemed to have become an "obsolete political commodity."[7]

    Rehman Malik was the person responsible for security of Benazir Bhutto. After the assassination of Benazir Bhutto there were many accusation against Rehman Malik for lax security and his absence.[8]

    However, he was brought into the limelight for his past service to Asif Ali Zardari[citation needed] and PPP, and was made an adviser on interior affairs and narcotics control to the PPP Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani, with the status of Federal Minister. He was later upgraded as Interior Minister of Pakistan.

    You have to learn to be little fuzzy ,apply basic probability in defining a person.

    You have not understood the underlying problem in pakistan :
    1.pakistan has been on american side since 1970's.
    2.pakistan cant refute america.
    3.pakistan cant kick americans out

    Be it rehman malik,mussharraf,zardari,sharif or imran khan,everyone has to abide by these laws.

    but thats strange that a person never liked by his own ppl but the ppl of enemy country loves the same person ...

    that clearly shows ,why he is not Popular in his own public ?

    as long as wikipedia is concerned .
    its not a holy book...

    its wrongly quoting RM as a BB favorite .
    he was from day one ,Zardari's favorite .
    and Zardari suggests BB to put RM on her security .
    which ended up on her murder .

    1.india isn't Pakistan enemy.India has never attacked pakistan in last 62 years.
    2.rehman malik is interior minister in democratic society.although he doesn't have a political career but he was chosen by largest party of pakistan.
    according to you PPP is a party working for India:)

    3.do you mean to say that zardari got his wife killed?
