It does not matter if Iranians or TTP or CIA is doing this.

What matters is that it is our responsibility to make sure this does not happen. And it is the the failure of our security establishment. We need to focus on the safety and security of people in Pakistan rather than daydreaming about liberating Kashmir and having strategic depth in other countries.

It is time we focus on ourselves instead of blaming it on others.

If we start investing in Law Enforcement, truly capable police force then these things could be avoided.

Half the police force in Karachi is busy protecting VIPs.

Core Commander drives around in a convey of 7 Series Bomb Proof BMWs, where as the Police harasses motorcyclist to buy diesel. Is this also.. CIA / RAW sazish?

VIP security is also important because you dont want your higher ups getting killed every week.

We need to come up with something that does both and we have NO OTHER OPTION.

    @bsobaid,

you guessed it right I think, it has to do with international terrorists hiding in Pakistan. its the start of string of revitalized attacks coming from ALQ as revenge of BLadens death. they started from the easiest place which is Pakistan.

Saudi Govt is as much an enemy to them as USA itself is.

PAkistan needs to take huge measures to focus on its security instead of blaming CIA RAW or anyone for the matter.

but quaid..if u think about it..the killers were on motor bike...this is typical karachi style..this is how sectarian terrorist organisation and target killings happen in karachi. Well..the links between international terrorists and local terrorists have long been established...so it is possible the supari was passed on.

Talibans reach and network is spread all over Pakistan and they have ability to attack their targets wherever they want.

This is another taliban attack after Charsadda attack which killed 82 Pakistanis. Time has come for the nation to rise against talibans as Govt security agencies have failed to protect them.

Nahi Barrack, Taliban are allied to none and against everyone. Religious affiliations mean nothing to them, they only care about political affiliations and none is their affiliate and consequently they see everyone as their enemy.

Talibans (Salafi sect) ideology is full of violence and intolerance. They would crush any dissenting voice with fatal results and their beliefs are beyond any reasoning. Collaboration of Pathans and Arabs has created Taliban fitna in our country and in Afghanistan. Talibans would go to any extent even attack mazars and graveyards (which according to Salafi sect are harem in Islam). No one is safe from their acts of violence and they have created a very dangerous ideology in our region. Hameed Gul is their gang leader and Osama was financier.

barackosama bahi, I can write a book about taliban fitna but in a nutshell, they are the biggest trouble maker and hijacker of our religion.

it is a very severe lack of knowledge or misinformation on anyone's part to call Taliban a Salafi sect.

the salafis have nothing to do with taliban ideology which if anyone cares to notice and study will find it more closer to the Deobandi school of thought rather than the salafi or wahabi sect.

Incase if anyone has forgotten Taliban were making Afghanistan a hanafi state.

What is the difference between wahabiism, Deobandi sect and Salafi sect?

Please stop spreading incorrect information about hanafi and taliban links. Hanafi/Brailvi sect is 1000 times better than Deobandi sect.

Sweet Truth I know in your case you believe to be well informed regarding the sects but you have no clue regarding who are the bravlis and the deobandis. Let alone Salafis or Wahhabis.

    What is wahhabism ?

Wahhabism or the word Wahhabi was coined by the Turks to the people of Hijaz and Nejd who established the true version of Islam based on Quran and Sunnah. The movement was spearheaded by a man named Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab Rahim Allaah Azza wa Jal. The word which contains one of the Names of Allaah Azza wa Jal is mostly used as a derogatory term by the masses to identify the people who have a puranitcal view of Islam. The movement was started to bring about the change of condition of misguidance spread in that area. The leader of this movement called upon people to stop grave-worshiping as the Arabs did before Rasool Allaah Sallaho Alayhi wa Ala Alayhi wa Sallam.

The target audience was heavily Sufi and Ashari oriented and since they weren’t able to answer back or prove the man wrong as he was replying their every question with an Ayah in the Quran or with an authentic hadith and they couldn’t refute any of his arguments.

So as ignorant people do best they vilified him and his message and start a rumor mill for him. They eventually killed almost all the followers of the movement in 1818.
Till that time the word Wahhabi was used to denote the followers of the movement and encompassed all derogatory connotations by the outsiders.

How did this term come into Indo Pak and gained popularity?

In 1822 an Indian Muslim scholar Syed Ismail Shah came for Hajj and studied the books of famous Hanbalite scholars Ibn Taymiyyah Rahim Allaah and books of Shaykhuna Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab Rahim Allaah. He came back to Subcontinent and started the struggle against the British and their puppets and was the first line of Ulema killed in resistance against the British Raj and their puppets(Sikhs in this case) in 1831.

After the wars of 1831 & 1857 the Brits realized that the major propellants of anti-Brit Raj were the the religious scholars and most of them were Muslims. So in 1889 and 1900s came 2 biggest puppets of Brit Raj in the guise of Muslims Ahmed Raza Khan and Mirza Ghulam Ahmed. Both condemned the fight against the Brits and opposed anyone who favored it.

Ahmed Raza khan a sufi grave worshiper declared the Deobandis and Ahul Hadiths as Wahhabis and Brits took this stamp and spread it across. Till this day the ignorant masses cant make the distinction between Ahul Hadith and Deobandis and accept the label given to them by the Brits and their puppets.

    What is a Deobandi?

Deobandi is a person who follows the deoband movement started by Qasim Nanotvi and six others. The deobandis are Ashari/Matrudi in aqeeda and Sufi Naqshbandi in the Tareeqa that they follow. They follow the Fiqh of Imam Abu Hanifa Rahim Allaah and accept the validity of other 3 Imams.
The most surprising thing is that Bralvis and Deobandis have the exact same Aqeedah and the exact sufi tareeqa and only differ in a few points.

    What is a Salafi ?

The one who follows the Salaf is called a Salafi.

    Who are the Salaf

In the words of Rasool Allaah Sallaho Alayhi wa Ala Alayhi wa Sallam as narrated by Ayesha Radhi Allaah Unha in Sahih Al Muslim that Prophet, sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, that during the sickness from which he died from, he said to Faatimah, radyAllaahu 'anhaa: "So fear Allaah and have patience. And I am the best Salaf (predecessor) for you." [Saheeh Muslim: no. 2450]

Salaf in Arabic means predecessor and Rasool Allaah Sallaho Alayhi wa Ala Alayhi wa Sallam said in Sahih Al Bukhari narrated by Zhgudam and Abdullah ibn Umar Radhi Allah Unhu that
"The best of mankind is my generation, then those that come after them, then those that come after them."
So if anyone says that I m on the path of Salaf As Salih is not saying that out of the ordinary, infact he is recommended to identify the route he is on as there are many deviant sects that claim to be muslims and don’t follow the either the Rasool Allaah Sallaho Alayhi wa Ala Alayhi wa Sallam or the best 3 generations at all.
so if u look at it anyone who exactly follows Rasool Allaah Sallaho Alayhi wa Ala Alayhi wa Sallam and his companions and the next 2 generations of Muslims is by default a Salafi.

    Now coming to Taliban.

It is known throughtout the world that OBL followed a specific group of leaders who weren’t really educated in Islam but were considered to be scholars ( I know Salam and Revivalist will object) Syed Qutb, Hasan Al Banna and Maududi. They all had a similar line of ideology and wanted more a political islam where you can remove the ruler as you please. All these groups have the exact same aqeedah and they all are Ashari/Matrudi.

So whether its Deobandi, Taliban, Muslim Brotherhood or Jamat Al Islami they have the exact core aqeedah and differ in their fiqhi issues.
