Afridi has always been supporter of Mustafa Kamal... and he is a proud Karachite and Pakistani.... you can tell how Karachites support Afridi at Jinnah airport or in front of his house whenever he comes back.

I never doubted this man's sincerity... there are certain elements that form a Punjabi lobby that kicked him out of the team. and now you did not see any Karachite player play throughout Zimbabwe series except Ramiz Raja junior who played today finally.

yes,its definitely an old picture.
because,these days when MQM is facing its worst phase.
nobody is stupid enough to associate himself with a looser party.
no2. Afridi is a national sportsman.
he has a great following.
he wont damage his followings by associating him with a particular linguistic party.

no3. he is after all a Pathan.
he can join ANP but not MQM.

He is an impulsive character who is never known for his wise decisions...

He left the Pak team in England high & dry and then there are many resignations and comebacks...not to mention the unwise comments made against Indian people and players and then apologizing, well sorta.....in a nutshel, he is a sharp, shifty shooter!!

Besides, what's a big deal if has joined MQM? In fact, we need more non-Urdu speaking and hero type people in MQM fold so that bad elements in MQM could be kicked out or made a thin minority......think big, think what is good for Pakistan!!!

Acha hai, akal thikanay aai gi when he would be asked to spend at least 4 hours at 90 everyday, collect hides/fitra/bhatta, do wall chalking, look after arrangements for those tele-khitabs...and most importantly, donate at least 10% of his earnings into MQM coffers every month.

shahid afridi should make new party then we will see how MQM love him,phir dhood ka doodh pani ka paani aor quad k mazar ka dawa kitna saacha hai...wo bhi independent candidate, i wo'nt think MQM will allow him because he may be sincere with pakistan but he will be blamed enemy of karachitees.
