Shariffs Compared to Zardari-Bravery

    Zardari was put behind the bars no. of times and spent long years in jails. He passed through different judicial trials no. of times, but he was never seen scared or out of senses.

    When Shariffs were summoned in a court trail for plance hijacking case, they were trembling and looking totally out of senses. Particularly, Shahbaz started speaking absurdly totally out of senses in front of the judge. The judge had to order him to talk sensibly.

    Why could not Shariffs be as brave as Zardari? Let us discuss who is stronger in nerves?

    I think there is no point in making the comparison, one stayed in jail for ten years the other for one year and ran away.

    The ten year one is a born chamar and an inherent criminal thats why he was not at all averse to staying in jail and considered it to be his home...

    The one year one was falsely implicated in a concocted charge of hijacking a plane 30,000 ft below and sentenced to die by a kangroo court...He was obviously smart and retreated to an exile to fight another day. Its easy to be alive than to be dead like Bhutto and have a bhangee damad playing politics with formers name.

    Nawaz sharif`s decision of 1990 to prove Pakistan a nuclear power is a big difference between the two.
    Ask yourself if there was Asif Zardari at that time what happened? (dollars OR nuclear power)

    @ibad,

    Forget about $ or nuclear power bro, Asif Doggy would have ran away to Dubai until the dust had settled.

    Zardari was strong enough to resist imprisonment for 10 years and then later knelt down finally to make deals. Shariffs could not bear the hardships and harldy after an year knelt down to make deals. Here, at this point, Zardari proved himself to be a stronger person.

    The difference is Zardari could not make a deal to get out of jail....Nawaz Sharif could.

    You may be right that Shariffs are smarter in making deals. Again, it is to evaluate whether they are as strong as Zardari to bear tribulations?

    shunk sb.

    If they are braver than Kayani, Qazi and Iftikhar Chaudhary, then that means if the said personalities are summoned in any court of law with similar charges, they may trembled so badly that they may fall down. Shariffs were at least able to stand on their on feet despite heavy trembling. However, their brother-in-allegation "Ghous Ali Shah" was quite composed like Zardari. If Sahriffs are weaker than Zardari, then at least their fellow politician "Ghous Ali Shah" is as strong as Zardari. Whenever, there is any match of demonstrating nerves, Shariffs should place Ghous Ali Shah to match Zardari.

    @ Hussain: Despite my hatred for Sharif brothers I think that the news about Sharif's trembling while going to court was a part of an effective campaign to suppress any pro-sharif sentiments people had. After the Bhutto fiasco army learned their lesson that any politician who is jailed should be portrayed as a coward rather than a brave man of the soil.

    Most of the friends on this forum have expressed their opinions in the favour of Shariffs as braver people. Besides the remarks based on the sense of humour of our friends, one has to acknowledge the facts that except a few exceptions, most of our politicians are corrupt and coward. There are no politicians brave as Jinnah, Liaquat and Ali Bros.. When Ali Bros. were jailed, their widow mother encouraged them to continue their struggle for their holy cause. May Allah give us the polticians like Ali Bros. , Jinnah and Liaquat Ali khan, Aameen!

    @Anwer Kamal,

    Please bro, no glorification of PPP and we know how honorable Zulfiqar "Bengal ka Qatil" Bhutto and Benzair "NRO Wali" Bhtto were.

    @Hussan Farooqui,

    I just don't understand as to why a thread was created such as this when you were suppose to declare all the politicians as corrupt in the end. So are you saying that Asif Ghaddari is also corrupt and was rightfully held in the slammer all along?

    The comparative was made just to discover who is comparatively better? Who is less corrupt? Who is compratively more competent?

    As there is an Urdu proverb, "Andhoon mein kana Raja" (among the blinds, dumb is like a raja).
    We have such a great shortage of good politicians that we need to discover who is "Andhoon mein kana Raja".

    Among the opinion of some friends Imran is a Kana Raja of our politics. Similarly, in the opinion of some friends, Nawaz is a Kana Raja.

    We can pray to Allah,"May Allah bless our beloved country".

    The elementary problem of our national politics is feudalism. Democracy is never established here in true sense. The system which is named as democracy is not exactly democracy but feudalism indeed. We are thus ruled by either dictators or feudal based so called democrats. Feudslim can never be abolished through any parliamentary bill, since the feudals can't abolish their own system. All the dictators i.e. Ayub, Yahaya, Zia and Musharaff missed the opportunities of abolishing feudalism. The reason can probably be that every dictator wanted his dictatorship to be followed by feudal parliament, so that another dictaor can find an opportunity for another military coup.
