Sheikh has said they could not cope the loss in Mansehra and now a pending defeat here. so they wanted to get rid of me.

not a pml-X supporter by any means, but i think it is not correct, b/c pml-n would be very, very stupid to do such a thing at this point in time. this HAS to be done by someone who is against pml-n. this was never going to benefit pml-n, even if sheikh had been killed.

apart form that, it really sounds strange that four gunmen 'completely' missed sheikh!

i m NOT saying anything about sharif brothers .
i am NOT trying to exonerate them from this ...
but what i m saying is just that ,at this point in time ,an attack from sharifs on Sheikh ,would be nothing but a suicidal effort for sharifs themselves .
it seems like more useless for them and more helpful to Sheikh in order to get his popularity scores get high ,after he has lose from the same constituency ...

are u getting my point ?

BTW,i have zero sympathies for either of the two.

I have sympathy for those innocent ppl (guards) who have laid thier lives in this publicity game… very unfortunate.. But its politics… Muhabat aur jang me sab kuch jaeez hay..our politicians always gain publicity and vote over the bodies of innocent ppl.

That sheeta tali is clever enough to sort some thing else for his benefits in this election why in the world he would go for blood shed option instead of other options that are available for him thanks to Punjab Govt. performance in their province???

As far as I know in Punjab even Imran Khan is trying to takeover the province by getting PMLN popularity down so if we start analyzing the beneficiaries then we would get 1000+ names so should we say that it could be anyone....

I don't think so, if MQM can be responsible for whatever happens in Karachi, if PPP can be held responsible for whatever happens in Sindh, Baluchistan or Islamabad, then why exonerate Nawaz-League ????

If it was from PMLN then they could get only one advantage from it and that was delay in the election and they could only get this by eliminating Sk. Rasheed.

The survival of Sk. Rasheed from Klashnkov is either a miracle or it was planned like this. He has not received even a single bullet from a Klashnkov's burst, could you imagine this????

Whoever planned this was not willing to take Sk. Rasheed and no doubt PMLN is a dirty party but they could get advantage of the situation only when Sk. Rasheed was killed during this.

even indian staged dramas are nt of high class nowadays...remember the mumbai attacks...and how talat hussain exposed all of it..!!

but our dramas are worse man....who knows...99% of readers are sayin this on this thread tht it was a drama...may be sheikh sahab done it himself ( which looks like the case ) or maybe others have doen it..so tht ppl would think tht he wants cheap publicity..and lose the rahee sahee izzat...who knows ..!!

Shaikh Rasheed will never point a finger at PPP a possible beneficiary too as all fingers are pointing at PMLN. He has hopes pinned on Zardari more than ever.
PMLQ could be the real game players in this attack.

Attack on Sheikh Rasheed is a very big conspiracy. Dr. Kamal of JI was gaining strength day by day. It is a fair chance that he will win this election. Because he is most suitable candidate in NA 55. Most of the People of NA 55 have planned to vote for Dr. Kamal, becuase they want change.

Attack on Sheikh Rasheed is an attempt to creat hindrance in the way of viictory of Dr. Kamal.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif will start addressing public gatherings in NA-55 in the last phase of the election campaign, Daily Times learnt on Wednesday.

According to sources, this decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Nawaz at the Punjab House to discuss the electoral situation after the attack on Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed. The party meeting decided not to adopt apologetic attitude over the attack, and directed its parliamentarians and office bearers from Rawalpindi to mobilise people in favour of its candidate Shakeel Awan and tackle propaganda launched by Sheikh Rashid and the PML-Q.

PML-N legislators told the party high command that Awan’s position was still better than that of Rashid, and Nawaz should address public gatherings in the constituency to further improve the party’s chances of winning the elections. It was also observed that winning the Rawalpindi election was very important for the party as it had already lost the Mansehra by-election. It was also pointed out that the attack on Rashid could be a conspiracy against the party by its opponents. After the meeting, Nawaz Sharif left for Murree and would again visit the capital on Saturday to have another meeting with his party men.

They will ruin their claim of 79% popularity as already shown less than 15% in NA 21

Mian Nawaz sharif and his party knows that defeat in Rawalpindi will expose thier populartity and they will going convert from punjabi party to lahori party, I am feared, they can go out of control after defeat and can be more violent for their opponents. Mr Rashid and other should be very careful, because Now it is too easy to blame any crime and violence to talbans.

Well one of the reasons i see of why and how Shaik Rahseed escape the attack is prolly while running into the safe place Shaik Rahseed's wig fell off so the attackers couldn't recognize if its really him or any Monster or Dracula:|
