    Shireen (Sherry) Rahman has not been appointed as new USA ambassador. She has been appointed as Pakistan's ambassador to USA.

    Please make another correction!
    Pakistani Ambassadors and even the Present Govt works for the american govt so technically Sherry bibi is actually an american Ambassador.

    No.

    Despite reports to the contrary, neither the present nor any of the past governments nor Ms. Rahman work for the american govt.

    Some regimes have given too many concessions to americans in the past, but even if they were not acting in the best interests of Pakistan, technically they were working in their own interest rather than working for americans.

    I am not "proposing" anything.

    Just stating that the present govt of PPP (and even more so the previous regime of Parvez musharraf) believe in self preservation first. They are "pro-themselves" first rather than being "pro-USA" or "pro-Pakistan".

    I think it is not a bad decision.... Sherry is a brave woman, see her stance on Media Sacking and Salman Taseer murder, she has guts)........ but is she has experience of this job???? has she served as a ambassador in country like America before????

    Sherry Stance on media sacking was an internal arrangement with Zardari Bhai!
    Any one in PPP knows that, specially the PPP Sindh Jiala's (Ask the PPP labour wing President who was linked with Ms. Rehman in last few months)

    Seems to be true.

    Even Ms Rehman has a price, the coveted throne in Pakistan Embassy in Washington.

    I am not sure if she has accepted. A small hope that she might say NO. I live in hope, we all do.

    She is not corrupt as many of PPP leadership
