LAHORE - Muttahida Muslim League (MML) on Tuesday decided to maintain its separate identity and to form an alliance with PML-N.
This was decided at a meeting held at the residence of Hamid Nasir Chatha in Lahore. Those who attended the meeting included Muslim League-Zia chief Ejaz ul Haq, Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid and Muslim League-Functional leader Makhdoom Muhammad Ahmed.
Talking to journalists after the meeting, Muslim League-Like Minded General Secretary Humayun Khan Akhtar said the problems of people could be solved through unity of Muslim League factions. He said that he would soon succeed in uniting all League factions.
Ejaz ul Haq said that unity of all ML factions was need of the hour to save the institutions from a complete collapse.

Once all Tanga Leagues amalgamated in one entity, the new Muslim League shall become a true World Eleven that Nawaz Sharif recently talked about.......lol

Would it be too much to assume Musharraf might don the cap of the captain and Nawaz Sharif as best Vice Captain? Nah, my imagination is getting wild again....lollzz

But then, like they say, anything is possible in politics, let's see what transpires in next couple of months!!!!

All these politicians who had left PML-N are now desperate to come back.

These people should have thought twice before ditching their party in the first place.

MML and will have a separate identity! Yeah right and I'm the King of Scotland. Neither one of these morons is an electable in his own right and in his own constituency. The likes of Tully and Humayun Akhtar had had their behinds handed on a platter against N candidates. Its better if they re-join the parent party.

Atleast all these persons were part of PMLN prior to the 99 coup unlike those tunrcoats who are now joining the doomed Tsunami like a bunch of opportunists.

Waise bhi subah ka bhoola sham ko ghar wapis a jaye tu usko bhoola nahi kahte.

@Siddiq73. So what will be your reaction if your leadership accept them in the party or even goes for an alliance with them? I hope you will withstand your words and will not start explaining the "doctrine of necessity" and how important was it for nation to accept such people in Noon league. Am i right?

Point noted as said by Ijaz UL haq All muslim leaques be united ,so soon APML be with them too.
These days pmln is confused , they give one issue than 180 degree turn.I think if they leave Punjab Govt it will b hard to keep party intact.

Well every body knows there is no identity of APML. That a group of few people who are enjoying on the wealth of Musharraf. That is neither a party nor Noon league will ever accept them, even not the other factions of ML.

Jalain koshashain rang lain. Bilakhir tamam leagi darhay akthay ho gaye. PML N ka army intervention ka shikwa bhi door huwa. Agar aisey hi koshish jari rakhy to Musharraf ki APML ko bhi jald mana lain gaye. Siasat main sab jayez hai. Jab milna hi tha to saray jag kay samnay ik dosray ki utarney ki kiya zaroorat thi.

There is no harm if all the Muslim League factions get united before the elections. Basically its a ploy of those hidden hands who want to keep the rightest vote divided in order to favor the korhis and surkhas in the upcoming elections.

Our Tsunami khan is just dancing on the tunes of these hidden hands and will soon realize his blunder come election day.

Both APML of Musharraf and AML of Sheikh Rasheed does not qualify as a genuine Muslim League faction.

Both are tanga parties one having a single loser while the other having 3 of them.
