  1. SIALKOT LYNCHING: BROTHERS INNOCENT, EVIDENCE TAMPERED: JUDICIAL INQUIRY FINDINGS

SIALKOT: The judicial inquiry in the Sialkot lynching case declared the murdered brothers as innocent and revealed that doctors had tampered with evidence.

The Supreme Court began hearing the Sialkot lynching case on Wednesday, and an inquiry report prepared by Justice (retired) Kazim Malik was submitted before the court.

The report asserted that the brothers were not robbers. It also said that medical officer Dr Farooq and investigation officer Shamsher Bokhari had destroyed vital evidence related to the case.

The report further suggested that a proper medical check up of the deceased brother should be conducted. It also recommended stern action against the medical and investigation officers.

The Supreme Court adjourned the hearing into the Sialkot lynching case till tomorrow.

Police, 1122 officials blame each other...(cont.)

I say hang Firdaus Awan AND the Punjab officials whose report said otherwise (and SHAME on Ansar Abbasi for peddling the Punjab Govt version)

It will be interesting to see what Firdos Aashiq Awan has to say about the statement she made against the inocent victims. I wait to see if people condemn or condone her statement.

yes nota, ansar abbasi's report (though he just 'pasted' it) was quite disappointment because he is known as honest/sincere journalist-

why did ansar publish that report under his name is a question that i like to ask him

Judiciary can only be affective if our police system is good, what can judiciary do if police is corrupt and tamper with evidence.

  6. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

Now that the court of law has vindicated the victims, it is time to deal with the perpetrators, in just ways, in the most deadliest of ways.

I want an example! made!! out of them, for the rest of people of this! nation, for ALL! of the UMMAH, in-fact for ALL! of the people of this world to see, and note.

    I want Pakistan to send a crystal clear signal to this entire world;

    (1) no! one! will be allowed to play with the lives of citizens/people of this nation

    (2) justice! will! be served!, as it should be, in this! nation

What ever the case may be against these two innocent fasting angels, but the way they were beaten is against humanity. Who so ever politicians trying to save the culprits, whether they are from police or from mob, all of them must be beaten and dragged the same way in the streets, so that this episode of cruelty and barbarism must be stopped once for all. THE QUESTION IS THIS WHO WILL DO THIS DARING STEP IN THIS JUNGLE.

Just punish them as per the law of the land, no need to do what the perpetrators did as that would make us no different to the actual mob. Shouldn't she made to resign? If this media had an ounce of honesty and real moral cause they would build a case for her to step down immediately, i would say shame on her but she doesn't have a care in the world.

Sialkot where IQBAL and Faiz were born, today Sialkot has Firduas Ashiq Awan and Kh Asif.... this is a big difference that indicates the changes in Silkot's identity and its citizens' psychology which led us towards a great human tragedy. Police is protecting their fellows as usual,. DPO Chohan is relative of Ch. Nisar … where we go for justice ?

This is not sialkot of Iqbal... this brutality happened where Firdua Ashiq awan represents the public.

As i had earlier predicted, those people from butar village were visibly biased against these brothers.Even though the innocence of brothers have been proven still the whole episode is quite complex and i don't think real perpetrators would be punished.

there is no complications, as per tradition, Govt ,MNAs and police/administration are aligned with culprits and against innocent people.

This is how street justice looks like that we all are praying for everyday. Pakistan is not Tunisia where someone blood can stir the revolution. We have so much violence that this all looks norm to us. To begin with I am against any sort of bloody revolution, nothing changes after so called revolutions except few precious lives are lost like this.
