Kirthar Canal breach lets out torrent towards Nodero
LARKANA: The breach in Kirthar Canal widened to 100 feet near Sheranpur village, unleashing huge torrents that are fast headed towards Rato Dero and Nodero, Geo News reported Wednesday.
According to sources privy to Irrigation Department, the efforts are afoot to divert the current from the breach towards Shahdadkot....

Later, the chief minister presided over a high-level meeting to discuss the flood situation in Larkana, Kamber-Shadadkot and other adjoining districts. The meeting informed him that floodwater was diverted to protect Ratodero, Naudero and Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and it would cost Rs 45 million to rebuild the Tori Bund.

Ratodero under threat after new breaches
The chief minister took an aerial view of the area along with provincial ministers Agha Siraj Durrani, Ayaz Soomro, Jam Saifullah Dharejo and adviser Jameel Soomro before taking decisions about cuts to be made to divert floodwaters to save Ratodero and Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto.
The administration got down to building a four-kilometre-long embankment around Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.
The village is the resting place of former prime ministers Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto. Heavy machinery was sent from Sukkur for the work.
Irrigation officials began diverting floodwaters towards Salar Shakh by cutting the road at two places.
To save "taj mahal" of dead Bhuttos, they are drowning and sinking people who are alive, Sindhis are watching everything,it seems Bhutto's "legacy" will be washed away with these flood and in coming days and years ahead people will continue to curse and condemn the dead Bhuttos and the fake impostor (Zardari Bhuttos).
I hope these Sindhis have brains enough to understand all this....

No offence, but if average Sindhi was half intelligent in understanding what PPP have done with them, they would have rooted them out long ago.
Do not underestimate your fellow Pakisanis, please, Sindhis or otherwise. Just wait till the floods subside. You'll see sure enuogh what they've understood about their current leaders.
