    Later, addressing a news conference at residence of PPP MPA Dr Asad Moazzam, he welcomed his decision to quit the PPP and join the PTI. Earlier addressing party supporters in Toba Tek Singh, Javed Hashmi said the PTI tsunami was unstoppable and majority of people now supported Imran Khan.

    No wonder the quality of discussion on the boards is plumetting! Is this all that there is to discuss out here....Falana joining You-Tube party and Falana leaving the other party?

    No No Siddiq73. The only real and worthy topic would PPP members joining N-League. That is the only commendable act and if someone acts otherwise that is worthless.

    ^^^ Zingaro Bhai, hum par tu ilzam hai kay hum apni apni parties kay paid bloggers hain...kiya aap ko neutrality maintain rakhnay kay paisay miltay hain? Any ways, I usually tend to refrain from commenting on people joining parties; even if some of them join PML (N).

    zingaro bhai i agree with u.sadiqi bhai is a respectable figure here on pkp.i have no doubt about his earnest devotion and commitment towards pakistan. His arguments speak sense.i hope he maintains his spirit and would not prove a blind supporter of any specific party.

    xero bahi, i thing sidiqi Bahi (He shows himself openly whom he supports (see logo)) is better then those pkp members who give themself as neutral (Bawa is one of them) to damage PTI/Imran but actually with the time they will learn that these tricks make PTI/Imran more popular.

    Zingaro Bhai and Xero Bhai,

    Thank you for the brotherly thoughts! I'm sincerely obliged.

    Asif Bhai,

    I think that its aight to be a supporter even if one has an avatar of a certain political party. One thing we all can eschew is spamming baseless propaganda and appreciate good work, no matter which party performs one.

    Sorry sidiqi Bahi, time for performing good work for sharif-Family-league and Bhutto/Zardari-League is over. all the years in the past they were waiting for their turn, one after the other, without taking any intiative for the betterment of the public. Now with PTI as third option they have to quit to give others the chance to do something better.

    @Asif,

    Brother, if both the parties have underperformed and have not lived up to the expectation of people at large; than you can be rest assured that the same people, voters and constituents would vote them out. PTI will only claim to be the "Third Option" once it is voted in power; PML (N) and PPP will not quit just like that.

    We have seen the "third option" or "teesri makhlooq" in the past as well in the form of Qazi Hussain Ahmed's PIF and Tahirul Qadri's PAT.

    Each time the "teesri makhlooq" spent so much in propaganda and held huge jalsas giving the impression that it was going to sweep the elections.

    Come election day, the "teesri makhlooq" invariably ends up sweeping the floor of polling stations looking in vain for any votes cast for it.

    In the Past PTI was not appeard as third option. But in these four years Zardari has exposed all ruler elite.

    So lets wait and hope the one should win who will bring the expected change!

    @Asif Bhai,

    Yeh app logon ki kush fahmee ya yeh bolain kay aap logon kee budhawasi hai kay Sharif Family kee aap logon say chakay chotay howay hain.

    Aap kee leadership agencies, establishment aur loton kay zor par "Third Force" bunna bund kar dain aur N-League app ki sachai duniya ko batana bund kar day gee.....simple!

    Incidentally, all the "teesri makhlooq" parties in the past, including PIF and PAT, have targeted PML-N only with their vitriolic hatred, trying to break Muslim League vote bank and help PPP.

    Both failed miserably in getting any electoral success for themselves. PIF in 1993 did manage to stop PML-N from getting an absolute majority by polling 5-10 thousand votes in about 25 constituencies where PML-N lost by less than 5 thousand votes. However, this also signaled the demise of Jamaat Islami as a viable political party.

    No matter the bombastic boasting, the current "teesri makhlooq" PTI seems all set to meet the same fate as its predecessors. The only question is whether it will only self destruct like Tahirul Qadri's PAT or will it make enough impact as Qazi's PIF to stop PML-N from forming government and ensuring continuation of PPP rule.

    @Xero Bhai,

    Aap ki mayoosi haq bajanib magar aap is baat ko bhee zahin nasheen rakhiyeh kay 90's mein kisi bhee government ko poori term complete nahi honay dee gai. Agar us duur ki democratic governments ko sahi say kaam karnay diya jatta, aap yakeen karain kay aaj halat itnay mayoos kun na hotay.

    Yeh Punjab kee political psyche ka kamal hai kay PML (N) kay ilawa wahan PML (Q) jaisee tattoo parties ka bhee vote bank hai, is mein PTI ka koi kamal nahi.

    Mujh jaisa aik kum akal insaan tu sirf yeh jaana chachta hai kay Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Jehangir Tareen, Ijaz Jazi, Zaheer Khokhar, Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Khursheed Kasuri, Leghari Brothers, Zafarullah Warraich jaisay chalay howay kartoos/lotays say aap kis kism kee delivery ki umeed kar rahay hain?

    Fair enough but I thought a sitting MPA resigning from his seat was big news especially considering the PPP leadership begging him not to leave.
