I sincerely suggest you read " A Prophet for Our Times" by Karen Armstrong.
You are sincere with reason, and the only wealth reason has, is knowledge, but you require seer's eye, not reason....

Firstly Karen Armstrong is an academic who has based her research exclusively on Islamic historical sources, the Quran and the Sunnah. She had to do that without question because there simply did not exist any reliable non-muslim account of the Prophet (pbuh). though non-muslim sources have been used in the book, they are almost exclusively used to back up claims by muslim historians.
I really think you have no clue how incredibly positive and respectful her account is. She gained this respect for the Prophet (pbuh) as a result of her historical research, and this respect is evident from the first page in her book.
Secondly, i will always trust a neutral academic over a community of scholars whose very livelihood depends on the religion they are supposed to "research".
Anyhow why don;t you give the book a try and then comment on its validity.
So you will believe the Research of Karen Armstrong who is using sources which are based on Sunnah and yet if the same sources are used our the parameter of Karen Armstrong you will reject them ?
lol
That is so absurd.
And how did you come to about Sunnah ? Its not in the Quran so how can you say that this thing is in the Sunnah and this thing is not ?
Again i m not talking about Mullahism or Molvis as i despise them myself. I am talking about scholars whose entire lives have been spent in learning and teaching Sunnah based on the most accurate sources who have suffered innumerable atrocities and yet stuck to their belief and propagated what is the Truth.
