Stay away from these medicines!!!!!

    The drugs including Cardiovestin (simvastatin), Alfagril (clopidogrel), Concort (amlodipine), and Soloprin (aspirin) manufactured by Megapharma, Lahore.

    Please take extra precaution when taking these medicines. Better yet, check with a physician or a reliable pharmacist.

    These medicines can be poisonous and can cause severe health issues including death.

    Just came to know that only a batch of these drugs got contaminated. Due to the lack of education and possibly an ineffective batch tracking system, I would suggest that all the aforementioned medicines in the cabinet be discarded. Drug store shelves should be verified.

    Can someone tell the authorities? I would prefer a panic than a sorry or the political cost. Life is cheap in Pakistan.
