Suicide Bombers in Pakistan?

    Imagine a young naive guys being told that his way of heaven is by following the "true" version of Islam. He is prepared takes a bath and wears neat cloths and offers his own final "namaz" and then puts on his suicide jacket or belt and heads to Lahore High Court. He might be naive he might be young but i don't understand how can he kill his own people. Killing infadals is the same i believe but he might think different about them. Still how can he justify killing his own Muslim fellows?

    20 killed in Lahore and 70 injured just got the news.

    I strongly believe the establishment is creating the scene favorable for its strikes in Wazaristana and other areas.

    Please share your views and any suggestion how we can stop the killing of our own people?

    i just dont understand what brand of islam condones muslims killing other muslims.

    even if the "establishment" is striking down on elements in waziristan, i dont think they can be blamed for creating suicide bombers. i think our muslim leaders need to take more responsibility in this. There should be a clear denouncing of suicide in islam and denouncing muslims killing other muslims (especially innocent bystanders).

    i think our muslim "leadership" has failed us. The last time I was in pakistan it seemed as if there were hundreds of "mullahs" that were gaining popularity. why arent these mullahs speaking up against what is wrong?

    also, if jamaat e islami is really a muslim party, why hasnt its leader come out and denounced these types of attacks?

    Because its not in favor of the government. Imagine a Pakistan without any terrorist. Then there will be no US war on terror for US and Musharraf cannot keep power as an excuse to finish terrorist. All the Mullahs you saw in Pakistan and jamt i islam. They work as puppets and they are not true Islamic organizations who want welfare of people.

    wow so irfan you actually believe that musharraf is encouraging terrorist attacks so he can maintain his power?

    i thought americans were cynical, but they are no match for pakistanis.
